We recently upgraded to the CR Atrium Club level for our Nov. / Dec. WDW trip. Having never stayed at a concierge level anywhere at WDW, I was just wondering what to expect. Do you check in at the resort as normal? Can your concierge arrange dining reservations? Will I ever want to stay any place else?;)

We were met by CM at the front door of CR. She called us by our family name & walked DD & me to the room while another CM took our luggage & DH parked the car. I made all ADR's online on my own at the 180 day mark, but I'm sure the front desk staff on your floor can help you with any reservations you want. We enjoyed our time there (1st time CL for us too) & DH is spoiled. We haven't been back to WDW yet & I'm hoping DH doesn't want CL every time, since I'm the frugal one...

Our first club level stay was at the Atrium Club and it was amazing! I did all our ADRs before we booked but they had our itinerary printed off and together when we got there. They were so wonderful. I could not believe how amazing they treated my kids and made them feel special. Not sure what view you have but the MK View was amazing and if not, the view from the lounge for fireworks was great! I hope one day to get back there!

No. You will be spoiled for life! :lmao:

My first reaction was that club was no big deal, but we only did it for one night. then we did non club...then we tried club again whena good deal came out. Since then...It's harder for me to stay non-club, except for quick one night stays. (like arrival nights)

There is a great thread with TONS of info on club level.

That should give you all the deails, including pictures, if you want.

I can also answer any questions you have.

CR is one of my favorites. It's not the best on personal service, it's not the best on resort theming, or resort pool...

What's great about CR is the lounge view, the lounge set up, the resort set up, how easy it is to get all over property, and I love the Bay Lake view rooms. You get sun in the morning, shade in the afternoon, a relaxing view, a view ofthe pool (handy for several reasons). If you want to see the firworks, just head to the lounge. (except that you can kind of see the Epcot ones form your room) and BL rooms have a great view of the water parade at night.

Another nice thing about CR, is that I like to go early in the am to then lounge and catch the weather (though now I can simply use my phone). At some other resorts, the only tv is playing cartoons, and the remotes are hidden. I also really like the way the staff desk is set up at CR. It's right in front of you when you arrive, but you can see it from the lounge. going back toyoru room is also super easy.

A plus of CR, is that you can get from the lounge to any Monorail restaurant inside of fifteen min- usually less. (assuming the monorail is running). you can also get to WL pretty quickly. So you can have snacks/an adult drink in CR at 5, leave at 5:50pm, and be at 'Ohana by 6:05pm.

The only dining that's a bit inconvenient is the World Showcase. You can also get from CR to almost any dining on property by walking over to the MK bus stop. CR is unique in that, esp since MKis often open late.

One thing to know about CL: it isn't always obvious what staff can and can't do. Most staff are excellent at all club levels! As with all WDW staff- not everyone has the same level of experience. It depends who you ask, so to speak. You can request drinks for your room fridge. If you use Disney's park-to-resort package delivery service, packages should arrive directly to your room, but once in a while you have to call to get them delivered.

Another big plus of CR is that the lounge is open 24hours. You can't get food 24hours, but you can sit there quietly after 10pm. It's like having an extra living room. It's also great with kids because the whole floor is secure. Only folks with club cards can be there.

I've been told that CR check in can be done directly on club level. If you arrive by ME -staff should greet you at the bus. (that's what we've had at every other CL room) However, my personal experience at CR has always been that we were asked to check-in at the front desk. So- it could be either way.:lovestruc

We were booked Atrium Club two years ago, when we pulled up to unload all of our stuff the CL greeters approached us and told us we had Ben bumped to Tower Club, the 14th floor. All of our paperwork was handled on the floor, not at check in desk. Oh, btw, they gave us a one bedroom suite too, so mega upgrade. Sending some pixie dust your way!

We have our ADR's done too and we have a Bay Lake view. Afraid we're gonna get spoiled for 7 nights - that's just a chance we'll have to take!:lovestruc

Having a Bay Lake view on the club level is the best of both worlds. You have the gorgeous lake view from your room and the perfect MK view from the lounge!

We had a great time staying CL at CR last October. The staff was great and was always asking if there was anything else they could do for us. If you need beers during the day, just ask the staff and they can bring some out for you (otherwise, they're provided after 5). When I asked for an extra diet coke and coke to take to the park one morning, we came back from the park that afternoon and found our fridge fully stocked! :goodvibes

We didn't need the CMs to make any ADRs for us. But they were VERY helpful in getting our Citricos ADR pushed back. I had asked if there was a later ADR to be had (we had wanted to take a quick swim before dinner) but there wasn't. So the CM first called the restaurant directly (but no one answered), so she then called the GF restaurant manager who said there weren't an ADRs available for the later time, but she'd make sure we would get in when we arrived. I was floored by the amazing service!

Have fun on your trip!
