First time at BLT, need advice please

Hello all,
We are going to be staying at BLT for the first time as the children really want to stay accross from MK , I was able to get a dedicated 2 bedroom lake view. I have some questions please,
Which area should I request with the best view to the lake and possibly MK if we can, and the second one, wich rooms are better to get you faster to the lobby, restaurants and the monorail?
Maybe I'm asking for too much, but you never know. I have learned a lot from all the different opinions here.

Each of those requests would get you a different part of the resort. If you want to have a shot at seeing the MK, ask for an even #'d room, northern end.

However, those rooms would be farther away from the CR. To get one's closer to the CR, and the food options, you want to be on the southern end, near elevators.

The sky bridge to the Contemporary is on the 6th floor. We stayed on the 7th floor with a MK view and got to the Main resort quickly.

If you don't want to go to TOTWL, You can get a good view of the MK fireworks from a North elevator lobby on an upper floor. They have settees in the elevator lobbies.

The Community Hall on the 1st floor has nice things for the kids to do.

Just returned from a stay at BLT. Stayed in room 7941. 2 bedroom dedicated, lake view. It was on the "South side of the building, looking in at the central courtyard and pool area.

Great location! Quick walk to the elevator that lets you out near the skybridge.

While I originally requested a room on the "outside of the C", we were very happy with the location.

Skyway ia 5TH floor... just remember.. elevator lobbies have a great view of the MK and are awesome to watch fire works.

I think that I would rather walk less to get to lobby or elevators
Since we are hardly going to be in the resort anyway
We would like to do more stuff by taking the boat that takes u to the other resorts
Any ideas?
Is going to be my family with DD 8, DS 14 and my siter with her family sons 6 and 8and the husbands
