After all of our trips, this is our first stay at BWV. We arrive Nov 27th and have a 1br Garden/Pool view. The only thing I was going to ask for is a high floor.

So, all of you BWV experts... anything we should know or any great tips about this resort?

Thanks
Ty

Sounds like it is just the 2 of you going...don't miss Jellyrolls, an adult only dueling piano bar at the end of the Boardwalk. Lots of fun. We normally get there before 7:30 to make sure we have a table.

$10 per person cover charge. You need to pay for your drinks with cash or credit card...can't charge it to the room here.

for use in those looooooooong corridors:rotfl:
seriously just cannot beat the location between Epcot and Hollywood studios .
If we are interested in going more to Hollywood studios ask for rooms closer to that end and use the stairs.
Great walk.
The boardwalk itself is used for walking and running early morning .
Great sports location with the Espn club!
Any yes even the big kids can enjoy the scary clown slide.
Enjoy a quiet book read at the quiet pool and of course a beer or two at the pool bar.(those guys even rember my name ,bad sign):dance3::dance3::dance3:

I would ask for a room directly overlooking the pool! It is fun to watch the activity during the day and evening and the ducks there in the morning.

The Belle Vue Lounge is a great place to have a drink in the afternoons to unwind before hitting the parks again at night.

use the stairs:

That is the best advice for the BWV's. Learn where the stairs are and use them (if you are able) to go to the Studios, the Boardwalk, the bus stop and the pools/community hall. They make it a lot easier to get around. Some doors are locked from the outside (like the one from the Boardwalk) so you can only use it to go out. But other doors like the one near the Studios has a key card entry on it.

Have fun.

So it sounds like requesting a lower floor is better then a higher floor?

Depends on what your needs are. If you have to retire early due to young kids and want to catch a glimpse of Illuminations while they sleep, then a higher floor might be better for you. But if you hate long elevator walks and wait times, then the bottom floor(s) may be for you.

I agree that the Belle Vue Lounge is a great place and could easily be overlooked or missed. Enjoy your drinks in the lounge or out on the porch. I also enjoy walking around the Crescent Lake and stopping in at all the resorts. We also try to eat at the restaurants in the area when we stay at BWV instead of rushing to others throughout the world.

Do not ask for a room near the elavators, becuase you just might get it. We requested a room close and got the first room after the elavators and listend to the whirring of cables all night. I mean really why put the bed against the elavator wall.
