What was your first Souvenier that you can remember?

My first is still hanging in my father's dining room. It was a Profile cut-out from the Silhouette Shop in MK. Favorite piece :)

Silhouettes - One of the best souvenirs at Disneyland is a silhouette. These are a true bargain, and totally personalized, too! Visit the Silhouette Shop on Main Street and watch as they hand-cut a silhouette of your head (or your kids' heads). The result is charmingly old-fashioned, and the cost is surprisingly low -- under $10 per person for TWO identical copies of the silhouette. There is a reasonable extra charge if you want them framed.

Goofy hat..it was a baseball cap type and a Mickey Mouse...I actaully just saw a picture the other day while wearing it and holding Mickey on mainstreet. This was back in 1981

I remember getting a big plush Lady on my first trip when I was 7! I also got ceramic Mickey and Minnie figurines, that I still have. I think I still have Lady somewhere, also!:)

Black hat with Epcot logo from our first trip in 2000. I wear it one week a year, vacation time! I don't know what I will do once that one falls apart, haven't found another one i've liked as much. :upsidedow

My first souvenir from 1984 was a mug from the crystal shop on Main Street (at least I'm assuming it was from the crystal shop...I was six years old at the time so I don't exactly remember). It has Minnie on it and my name is engraved with the block style lettering. I still have it.

I was so happy to see that they still have that same mug with the same style lettering on my last trip.....I got my daughter one with Tinkerbelle on it. :goodvibes

My first trip:

1) A Daisy Duck squeaky bill ball cap. When you squeezed the bill, it squeaked like a rubber ducky. I remember this because I met Chip, Mickey, and Donald in Toontown. Donald LOOVED my hat, and Chip took it off my head, and played keep-away from Donald with Mickey!

2) Mouse ears- Black ears, red hat. Precious!

3) One of those parasols decorated in liberty square- the small doll-sized ones.

Mine was a stuffed nala from Disneyland when I was 11 or 12. My dad took my sister and I down to the gift shop and we could pick out any stuffed animal we wanted. Nala is still at my patents house and my daughter loves playing with her!

Our first time to a Disney park was to Disneyland. we drove from MA to CA!
we all got those matching shirts white with Mickey and the red sleeves baseball style. Then i got the mickey ears, and I have a Mickey mouse and Minnie bank.

my grandparents brought me back some minnie jewelry and a gold charm bracelet when I was 1 (before I had gone).
My first trip when I was 4 I got a Minnie Mouse outfit and a stuffed Minnie which was about as tall as I was at the time. :wizard:

Mine was a drink holder in the shape of an orange with a green straw, does anyone remember these? It was back in the 70's at The Sunshine Tree Terrace.

The first one I remember wasn't mine. My parents had gone to WDW in the late 70's, I think, and they bought some Mickey Ears and Sunglasses for both of my Daughters, at the time age 4 and 6.

I have a picture of my youngest daughter, never one to be serious, riding on her hobby horse wearing the ears and also the sunglasses that she had put on upside down. Since they are both in their mid 30's now I doubt any of it still exists, but I have evidence that they did at one time. I might be biased in my opinion, but it was the cutest thing.

I'm not even sure it's from Disney....we did both DL and KBF that trip. I have a chalk drawing of myself and my sister has one as well and we are wearing our geeky matching sister outfits that my dad loved buying for us. I'll have to ask my mom if it was DL or not.

My first WDW souvenirs were a Pooh bear bobble head and an orange (my favorite color) purse with the WDW logo on it. My aunt and uncle brought them back for me when they took my cousins there in about '74. Pooh got broken eventually and the purse is long gone too.

I have two----both from my first trip to WDW in 1976 (Don't remember anything from DL trip in 1974! I do still have some tickets, though....) Anyway, The first thing was a glass mug (almost like a beer mug) with Pluto on it. The second was a Mickey Mouse T-shirt that had Mickey's "front" on the front and his "back" on the back.......similar to ones they have now but it was MIckey's entire body. I loved BOTH of those!

I have 2 from my trip in 1983:
-A Donald baseball hat with a squeaky brim.
-A set of the 7 dwarves. They were little squaky toys...about 5 inches tall. No Snow White though. lol I think they still sell something similar.

While I no longer have any of these, I'm sure Mickey ears with our names embroidered were the first. I remember my brother having the squeaky brim Donald baseball hat.

I loved my Minnie earrings and Minnie bracelet. One of my favorite toys was a Marie plush in a little basket. I was just talking about it the other day.

The first souvenir I got was a pair of the traditional Mouseketeer ears with my name monogrammed on the back, though I had no part in picking it out. The first souvenir that I picked out myself was a Mickey and friends lunchbox complete with thermos. I wish I knew where it was now, I adored it when I was a kid.

Mine was a beanie type of hat that I got in the 60s at Disneyland. I have a picture of me wearing it.

In 1983 I was 9 and my parents bought me the Goofy baseball hat with the 2 large teeth that hung down.
Funny thing was - I was missing my two front teeth, so I looked like the Goofy hat :rotfl2:
