First shots from my Canon 17-85

So, I just got this lens and I love it. The IS is great, so is the wider angle and extra reach. Its just about perfect as a walk around lens. But it is a heavy lens, well heavier than I thought it would be. Anyway, I think I'll be using this lens for a long time. Here are some of the first shots I took, any critiques are certainly welcome. So, there you have it. I'll be getting married and going to Jamaica in a week so I won't be around much but I'm looking forward to sharing more shots!

Thanks, Andy. You were absolutely correct in your recommendation for this lens. It is by far the best lens purchase I have made.

Thanks for the congratulations too. I just need to make it through one more week and I'll be set. I'm ready for that day to be here already! And then I'm ready to get to Jamaica and relax with a drink and my camera!
