Does anyone read Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys anymore? I loved those. And Judy Blume stuff. Katie used to play the Nancy Drew computer games. They were pretty cool.

Daisy likes Nancy Drew, she has all Aunt Pat's old hard back copies. I never read Nancy Drew. I did read the Bobbsey Twins though.

Oh, I recently finished the first two in the Twilight series. Have you read "The Host," which is her adult book? It's sitting on my bookshelf with my other to-reads.

I hadn't heard of that one. Does it look good?

She is scarily, scarily obsessed with Edward, to the point of unhealthiness. I'm trying to decide whether that's the point.

I think that's the point.

Hollie loves to read, well, look at the pictures mostly! Then she comes up with her own story while we look at them!

Great update! I love your empty Animal Kingdom shots. Gorgeous. I'm really looking forward to your Tusker House review. We've got that one scheduled, too.

I am all caught up now! Actually I was all caught up about 1am but I was too tired to comment.

Dh did the whole Drinking around the World thing with his buddies one day. Somehow his foot hurt AFTER that instead of before like you. He has no recollection of how he injured himself.

Yes I think we will avoid the Garden restaurants from now on.

The way you felt about Mexico because you were staying at CSR is the way we feel about CSR. We live in Phoenix so CSR to me is like driving around a prettier version of the city.

That's why we will probably never stay at Wilderness Lodge, to much like home.

Your house is so lovely. I love the floors. So elegant. I bet this is an exciting time for you all. How are the kids enjoying the new house?

It at least looks intriguing. The author has billed it as "the first love triangle with only two bodies." A parasitic alien (I think it's supposed to be an alien) takes over the body of "the host" and falls in love with the host's love interest. Only the host's mind is still present somehow, I believe.

What can I say? I had a Borders gift card and it was 40% off.

I think that's the point.

I was kinda hoping so, since if this supposed to be the "ideal" relationship I don't think it's the best message to send teenage girls. But the question then is whether Bella ever realizes she's obsessing too much (although it seems like she touches upon it with no resolutions to get over it) and works to find her own independence.

I loved the Nancy Drew's growing up - got the hardcovers from my cousin. Then I always watched the show in the 70's...but liked the Hardy Boys much more - was a HUGE Shaun Cassidy fan. And now I get to pretend I'm seven again as they rerun the Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries on Sunday mornings.

And I thought I saw you mention wanting to do a Crystal Place early ADR. Definitely do that. We've done it twice before opening and there is nothing like walking through the almost empty park...and a great time to get those castle pictures. Plus the food and characters have always been great and fun. My dad made sure to mention he wants to do this when we take him back for his second time next year.

I was just having this same conversation with friends of mine from Oregon and Washington too! They will never stay at Wilderness Lodge but love CSR. I will never stay at CSR but LOVE Wilderness Lodge! Thank goodness for variety at Disney!

Though I don't mind staying at The Grand Californian at Disneyland. It's a cross between Wilderness Lodge and The Grand Floridian, so it has enough formality to make it less like home.
