Again, I've been slacking! But, I do have some good excuses! holiday crazy and complete family upheaval! I will not bore you with details, I will instead throw myself back into dis to de-stress! So here goes!
I last left off the afternoon before a very special evening...
We rested and hung out until it was time to get ready for our big evening! DH knew I had a surprise for him but he knew nothing else!
We both showered and dressed up all spiffy for the evening and soon made our way over to CR and onto the monorail! DH still had absolutely no idea and anticipation was killing him

He was bugging me for info! So, when we got to Poly I faked like I was getting off just to tease him a little
We got off at GF and headed for the elevator. DH noticed another couple that was all dressed up and said I guess theyre going to the same place we are I kinda chuckled and told him that I certainly hoped not and because if they were I would be pretty mad!
We headed toward the piano on the first floor, as I had been instructed by the CM who was my contact for planning the night, to wait for our butler!
At this point I was nervous! Butterflies in my stomach and all! I was hoping DH would like his surprise and everything would go off without a hitch! I was also a little nervous because it was about 5:35 and the butler was supposed to meet us at 5:30! 5 minutes seems like a long time with all that nervous excitement inside of you!
Finally I saw the butler approaching! He knew right away that we were the right couple and came over to me! Jack, the butler, was FABULOUS!
He escorted us upstairs to the 3rd floor and out onto a beautiful balcony over looking the grounds of GF!

pretty table!

My wine on the pretty table!

view of GF Boca Chica building from my seat!
Like I said, Jack was FABULOUS! He catered to our ever need and seemed to be able to anticipate what we would want or need and when we would need it even though he spent most of the time somewhere out of our sight!
It was truly a private dinner!
Our food, which arrived at perfectly time intervals, was absolutely outstanding! As some of you will remember, I had to pick out our food before hand. For an appetizer we both crab cakes, then we both had French Onion Soup! Next was salad, DH had Strawberry Salad and I had Chevre and Tomato Salad, for an entrée we both had Filet of Beef! Next was, of course, dessert and we both had lemon cheesecake!
All the food was absolutely delicious!!!!! We couldnt have asked for anything better! There are no words to describe how wonderful it was just to sit there all alone with not a care in the world!
Sometime during the evening we learned that Jack was celebrating his 20th anniversary of working for WDW! In fact, it was his anniversary date! He had just received a pin for his nametag and a ring! Very cool and he was very proud!
When it was time we bid Jack farewell and gave him and extra big tip for being absolutely fabulous and went on our merry way! Jack actually had a little fun with DH because he knew where we were headed next and DH still didnt! LOL!!!
When we got to the marina DH thought for sure we were going out on the Grand One but I did a pretty of convincing him we were going out on one of the smaller boats! LOL! It worked especially well because 2 of the party boats they have were decorated for birthday parties!
But as our time to board approached our captain came off the, introduced himself and escorted us to the boat! DH was so funny! He was sooooo excited!!! I knew he would be!!!

A very bad picture of the Grand One!
Let me just say, that boat is absolutely amazing!! 3 bedrooms!!! 2 baths!!! A kitchen!! Absolutely beautiful!!!

We departed the marina and cruised the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake for a while!

CR at night!
It was nice to relax and see the sights in the moonlight! DH, for some reason, want to sit on the upper level of the boat were the captain and mate were sitting. It was a very area with a big table and leather seating. But for some reason DH spent A LOT of time talking to the captain! Geeze! Men!!
About 45 minutes or so after we left the marina it was time for the EWP! This isnt DHs favorite thing at WDW. He thinks its cheesy! But the captain, who had captained the EWP boats at some point was about to get us realllllllly close! SO close that I thought we might actually hit it! Unfortunately, because we were drifting and the EWP was moving my pictures really, really, didnt come out! Boo!!!

The only 1/2 way decent picture!
After EWP was over we cruised around a little more and DH chatted with the captain some more! LOL!! It was kinda of crazy! Here I was trying to have romantic evening with DH and he was talking about fishing with the boat captain! Lucky for him I decided to let it go because I know he likes to chat!
Soon it was time for Wishes! Actually Hallowishes because it was a Halloween party night!! This time DH and I went down onto the back deck of the boat to watch! It was fabulous! We drifted across the front of MK and got the best view EVER!! WOW!
After HalloWishes it was about time for us head back to BLT! In the best mod of transportation ever! Yes, the captain delivered us directly to the marina at CR!! We felt like rock stars! LOL! There were a lot of people out on the dock wait and here we come off a big yacht!! It was kinda cool!
We soon found ourselves back in our room ready for bed after a fabulous night with another full day to look forward to the next day!
