After exciting night at the hockey game we slept it a little bit! Another 8 am morning! This is a banner week for me! Sleeping to 8 am is unforeseen in my life! In fact Im typing this at 5 am and Ive been up for an hour!
Anyway, rested and happy we made got ready and decided to head straight to AK! At this point I was loving having the car! I was neat to drive to AK, a new experience and we got there so quickly! DH even offered to drive me over to the welcome sign to take a pic! I declined, I dont know why I did that!
We headed into AK and stopped for breakfast! We each got a coffee cake from a kiosk! It was pretty good!
Then it was time for some AK fun!
First we hoped over to the Safari FP booth and got FP for later and then headed to Pangani Forest!
I was wicked crowded in there! It was insane! The only thing that I managed to get a picture of was a spider and the 2 gorillas!

After our crowded walk DH decided he wanted to see flights of wonder! Weve never seen it and I really wasnt too sure about seeing it this time! Im not a huge fan of bird! Especially ones that may be flying at my head! But it was fabulous! My pictures didnt come out that great because of the light/shadow mix in there!
All in all I really enjoyed the show! I really think that it this case they could do away with some of the kitsch! It would be a great show without all the Jungle Jane stuff!
After FOW it was nearing our Safari FP time so we got a drink and took a little rest in the few minutes we had to spare!
DH really wasnt feeling too well again and we talked about going back to the room. But DH wanted to do the safari! So, we got on the FP line. A few minutes later DH decided that riding the safari wasnt the best idea ever because he was afraid hed get sick! So we decided to head out!
But then DH got an ingenius idea! ITTBAB! UGH! I havent done ITTBAB since 05! Now I remember why! Definitely not on my list of must dos next week
Then it was really time to head out! We reached the front gate and a tram was waiting for us! Woo hoo!
We got to the Dinosaur lot, where the car was parked, and hopped off the tram! The only problem was we couldnt find the car! Really?! Where the heck is the car!?
We walked up and down, over and around! DH hit the alarm button to see if we could here it beep. We walked around some more. Darn it was hot in that parking lot! Finally after 15 minutes we finally found the car! Yeah, not loving the car anymore! LOL!!
We headed off to return the car! A quick drive to the Car Care Center later and the car was being returned!
Alamo offers a shuttle. So we were going to us the shuttle. We waited forever for a shuttle! At least 30 minutes! What was most annoying is that 1 came while we were waiting but it couldnt take us to CR!!! Ummm, its right around the corner! IDK, maybe they have a specific route or something but at that point I wanted to leave CCC!
When the bus finally did come we got on with a couple and their 2 little ones who were trying to stay at Fort Wilderness. I say trying because they had driven down in their RV (not sure where the rental car came into play) without any planning or reservations!!! When they tried to check in they were told there were no spots for them! Oh boy! They said they didnt realize that they should have made a reservation! They were from somewhere up north, I cant remember where. Why would you drive thousands of miles with no plan?! I wouldnt fly into to MCO, take a taxi to GF and expect there to be a room!!!
Anyway, they had their RV in the parking lot at FW and had been able to secure a reservation for all the nights they intended on staying except that night! They were going to hunt for some place to stay for the night! They were talking about a Wal-Mart parking lot because most Wal-Marts although over night RV camping, some even have hook ups! I told them about a few RV parks I had seen the night before on our drive to tampa, there were 2 or 3 really close to WDW!
They got off the shuttle at FW and we headed back to CR! When we got back to our room I finally took view pictures!

After the photo session was over it was time to rest for the big surprise, romantic evening!
And then there's the whole Christmas trip to hear about too! That should keep us busy until May, right? 
I'm trying to decided if I should just start the new TR now or wait until I'm done with this one!!! I'm leaning toward starting a new one!!!
