First Onsite Stay Question

I'm employed again so that means my September trip is back on! I am planning on staying in one of the onsite hotels, but right now I'm leaning most towards PPH. So now here's what I'm wondering.

It's obviously a bit more $$ to stay concierge. What I'm wondering is should I just stay Standard and put the extra money on a gift card and use it for food in the parks? I don't think we'll spend money on food if we upgrade to concierge. Whacha think?

I can see you using the concierge breakfast. I can't see you 15/20 minute walk out of the park for the concierge snacks for every lunch and dinner. Consider how much you are paying to get the special room over the standard room, that's probably enough to cover a better meal in the parks.

Lol I guess if I want I could just bring along all kinds of stuff that I'd get at concierge anyway. More specifically breakfast.

IDK I'm still trying to decide if it's worth it to stay onsite, specially if I'm not getting a park view room. Ugghhhh.

I'm having a Vons grocery delivery with bottled water, soda, fruit, bread, PB&J etc for about $60... much cheaper than concierge! Plus the Standard Conceirge rooms could not have a view either!

I don't know if PPH has refrigerators in the room, but we were able to purchase breakfast and stuff for around 4 lunches that we kept in our fridge for around the same cost as upgrading one night to concierge (we were there for 7 days). We used Von's as well.
