First night of HHN - how busy?

Hi everyone!
I'm going on my very first solo trip this September! Company agreed to pay for my vacation so I chose a week at Universal I was originally going to leave on Sept 16th, but then saw the first HHN is on the 17th, so I'm debating staying an extra day. Is the first night of HHN usually really busy? How long is the wait for a house usually on the first night?

Once all the media leave, it won't be crowded in the front section of the park

Hhn usually builds in crowds each week
Opening weekend does not have crowds as later in the month does

Each year crowds grow overall for the entire season

No idea if opening will bring in more peeps than years past
