First night, first trip, great restaurant ideas?

6 nights at WL in January- 2 adults (DBF has never been!!!)

First night, 1 credit TS meal- Best meal possible with the best atmosphere?

I wanted to do Artist Pointe or California Grill but I need that extra credit for a surprise brunch on our last day at Chef Mickey's (I dont know if he will be happy that it's a big brunch or want to kill me for forcing him into a "character interaction" ).

Any ideas?

I would have said dinner at CMs no question. But since that's covered, how about 'Ohana? No characters (for dinner), and still plenty of atmosphere

This is the one I was going to recommend too. It is a FUN place to get you in the mood for your fun vacation.

For our first night, we like to do Tony's at MK. If you go later and request an outside table, you can enjoy the parade! It was really romantic and so awesome for our first night.

We're going to Ohanna's our first night which is 2 days away! It's my MIL's favorite restaurant.

Are you looking for someplace outside of a park?

I would suggest Ohana (a family favourite) or Raglan Road (I've heard great things about this place).

It could be in a park, getting the extra day's ticket would only be an extra $4 total I believe- really not a big deal in the scheme of things.

Just looking for overall suggestions- there are so many choices it is difficult to pick just one (especially when I've been to Disney before but only had 1 TS meal- 50's prime time cafe).

If u want to get in the Disney mood for the first night...go to Ohana and make the ADR at around 830pm and ask for a window seat... Wishes starts at 9pm (I could be wrong on the times but u get the point, have the ADR co-incide with wishes) and its a great view and with the music playing u cant beat the atmosphere. Plus the food ROCKS!!!!!
