First night dinner decision: Boatwrights or try T-Rex?

We'll be arriving at POR mid-day, and will likely want an early dinner.

This will be our first stay at POR. Should I plan for us to dine at Boatwrights to get a feel for the resort, or take the boat to DTD and give T-Rex a try right off the bat?

We are park commandos, so most likely we'll be dining in the parks for our remaining dinners...

I'd take to boat and go to T-Rex. The ride is really nice and the T-Rex here in KC is a lot of fun with good food. The boat to DTD was one of our favorite things about staying at POR.

Another vote for T-Rex. Boatwright's is decent but nothing to write home about.

I'd go with T-Rex. We did dinner at Boatrights last year and I was sorely disappointed in the variety and quality. ( Although, I do highly recommend boatrights for breakfast )
