Just as a point of refrence....
I checked prices for August 20th through August 24th and a standard room in an old Value Resort (Movies, Sports) was $97 a night. The Cars or Finding Nemo Suite at AoA Resort was $249 a night. I am assuming that this is Disney's Value Season for prices...so at other times of the year the price will naturally be higher.
You get a Queen and two full sized beds (full sized are pull outs). So, two standard rooms are probably better in that regard. You get two bathrooms in the suite...but you would get that with two standard rooms too.
The suite comes with a mini-kitchen with microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge. None of that in the standard rooms at all...well you can pay extra to get the little mini fridge.
So, I can see these suites being a little more money than the cost of two standard rooms based on the kitchen add ons. We just got back from 9 days in one room at All Star Sports and we had a fridge...but would have loved to have a microwave and a more natural place to eat...not to mention a little more space.
If I had more than one kid, I think this would be an easier decision...but with just three of us, we can get by with one standard room at a value or a moderate rather than the suites. But it would be really cool to try these new suites once....love the decor!
