I am new to this board and have 2 trips to Disney under my belt which is AWESOME! While reading the boards I thought why not do a pre-trip report and trip report for our upcoming trip!
Well this time round I am taking my Mom
(51) dad
(54) and Daughter 
(5) on a Disney cruise and then 3 nights in Disney world. Kind of as a thank you to my parents for watching my daughter a lot (over 5 weeks) this past year, to spend time with my daughter and as a congrat's to myself for getting a promotion in my job (I give road tests 
and spent the past year getting all my licenses for the promotion so YA me) So i maybe crazy not sure to scared to see the dr for it!
our trip is dec 8th to dec 16th, we are doing a 4 night disney cruise on the Dream from the 9th to the 13th and then Disney world at PO-Riverside from the 13th to 16th.
Let me tell you this trip is going to be the DEATH of me, First of all about me I am an uber planner I want to know everything about everything off the bat! and I know Disney world thanks to my trips and extensive planning. The Cruise is getting me all worried b/c I dont know it all!!!!! i know I may have some control issues.
My parents dont help when I ask for input all I get is "you plan it you seem like you have it under control" ARGGGGG
I asked my DM what shore excursions she would like to do and she said Scuba diving. Well I research and find snorkeling not scuba diving. So I ask if thats ok. She wants to do scuba, why you ask is it to see cool fish or b/c it allows you to go deeper and see things you cant by snorkeling? NO its JUST SO SHE CAN SAY SHE SCUBA DIVED!!!!!!
Oh and my DDad, he is soo not getting into the "OH MYGOODNESS ITS DISNEY" mood not at all. He actually has asked a few times if maybe us girls wouldnt prefer to go alone so he can stay home and do work and such!!!
how can ANYONE NOT GET DISNEY MAGIC EXCITED!!!!! Oh then i ask if he has any shore excursions he would like to do. His reply is he will sit in one chair on the ship then move to a lounger then move to the pool chairs and thats what he wants!!! GRRRR people very frustrating when no one is getting half as excited as I am!
well my 5 year old DD is excited but its half disney and half that her opa (my dad/ her grandfather) is going. Maybe more he is going! the last 2 trips all she talks about is him and how great he is and how she cant do things without him.
So that is my family introduction, Soon I will add all the plans I have made and dinner reservations and ship reservations..ohhh soo exciting!!!!
