So here is the plan, any input would be greatly appreciated!
We are leaving in 6 weeks and 3 days and about 10 hours and 25 minutes!
Can you tell that I am excited?!?!?!?
The cast:
myself
my DH
my Dbrother
my Dsis-in-law
Dnephew 4
Dniece 9 months on trip
We are leaving on Saturday 9/15, flying NWA out of DTW. Our flight is at 9:14am. We have reservations at a hotel across from the airport, we still havn't decided if we want to stay the night. We don't live far from the airport, I am about 25 minutes and DB is about 40 minutes but we are worried about getting us all there and getting up early, ect. The deal I got at the hotel is pretty good, 90 bucks for the night includeds airport parking for 8 days and a shuttle to airport. The way I look at is we get an early start to the trip.
Okay, so we leave at 9:14am (hopefully) and we should get into MCO at 11:44 am, we will be taking ME to POR, hopefully checking into the 2 connecting room at the Magnolia Terrace.
Here is our tenative itinerary:
9/15 - arrive at POR, check in and get settled, then hit the Magic Kingdom, dinner at Tony's Town Square
9/16 - animal kingdom, dinner at Bomas
9/17 - Epcot, breakfast with the princess at Akershus, I made the ADR for 10 so we aren't rushing around like crazy in the morning, dinner at Marrakesh
9/18 - MGM - dinner at hollywood and vine, we got the fantismic dinner
9/19 Typhoon Lagoon dinner at Spoodles
9/20 no park planned for this day, DB may go to Universal, dinner at Teppanyaki in Epcot
9/21 no plans for the daytime, dinner at Crystal Palace and tickets to MNSSHP
9/22 wake up and leave
I am keeping the schedule pretty open, I want this to be a relaxing trip and I don't want to pushing the kids to much. I am looking forward to some down time by the pool and hanging out with my Dnephew.
Also as far as packing I could use some help, I don't want to forget anything, but then again I am known for overpacking!
I have it broken down to four major catorgories,
Toiletries - I won't bore you with those details, I am pretty sure on that
First Aid:
Band Aids
Neosporin
Advil
Tums
Childrens Advil
Blister Band-aids
Aleo
Sudafed
Clartin Redi-tabs
Imodium
Mole Skin
Miscelaneous Stuff
Rain Ponchos
Eye Glass Repair Kit
Batteries ( for camera and Nintendo DS)
Beach Towels
Gum
Tide to Go
Waterproof Camera
Pocket Fans
Mesh Bag
Beach Bag
Shower Organizer (from the dollar store with suction cups to hang in shower)
Stain Wipes
Clorox Wipes
Antibacterial Wipes
Laundy Soap (freebies from the budget board)
Fabric Softner (ditto)
Pocket Kleenex
Nightlights
Clothing:
I think I can handle that!
We will be getting some groceries from gardengrocers and renting a high chair. I don't think we will be getting a car, we talked about but I don't think we will need it.
So any input from the Dis'ners would be great. You guys are great and I have gotten many good ideas!
