First ever email from Disney Parks & Resorts

Just checked my email and 12/23 we received our very first email from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Sure it was just an advertisement for the Narnia movie and the Christmas day parade, but it was exciting to see just as well. I've never, ever received an email from them!!! When I made my latest reservation I asked about deals during our travel dates. The rep told me it's too early for that (of course.) But then she said let me check something. Okay everything is fixed. Now you'll receive future emails for discounts and specials. I don't know what it was she fixed. They already had my email address! Hopefully, I'll get more than just advertisements. Guess I should be happy that after all these years I've finally made their mailing list. Why did it take so long?
