Wow, good for you. I haven't been married half my life yet, but I have been with the same person for over half. Wife 1 and I have been dating since we were 16. So we have been together for almost 19 years.

How long has it been with wife #2? ;)

I have been with DH more years than I have been without him. Guess I'll keep him.

Eh, I'm over it. :flower3:

On a lighter note, Ethan turns 3 tomorrow and Evan is 4 months old today. Where is time going?:faint:
I hate to say it, but i am not sorry about the Eagles.....:rotfl:
<----Cowboys fan......so glad Philly lost. :rotfl2:

happy bday Ethan!!! maybe it's time for another Jen? :lmao: :goodvibes

I finished Midnight Sun last night online and can go back to New Moon. i am juggling like 3 books at once right now. anyone an Ayn Rand fan? I am rereading Atlas Shrugged (my fav book ever) for the 4th time and wow, talk about relevant for today given the economy.

oh and Happy MLK day. Unfortunately, I am working. pixiedust:

we've got some long relationships/marriages here....congrats! It is always good to hear that. DH and I have been together since my freshman year of college- 16 years. Married for 8 of those 16. so almost half my life too. :cheer2:

Ok, can't believe I'm talking purses...but here goes. I'm do like coach, I carry a coach wallet and its indestructible. Coach stuff seems put together well and last longer than a lot of the more expensive stuff like D&B and Prada. My wife has sworn off Prada after paying over 300 for a purse that fell apart. I bought her a nice Burberry diaper bag with child number 3 that held up great. Once in a while I'll splurge and get her a purse for a gift, I usually stick with D&B or Isabella Fiore.

Don, Don, Don.:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:princess:

Oh...and DH and I...have a complicated history...I think most of you know the story, so I won't bore you with it again...:rotfl:

But we've known each other now for more than half of our lives...he likes to say that he now knows me longer than he didn't. We've been back together since Oct 2001, married in Sept 2002...and April 29th will be the 21st anniversary of our very first date!

I hate the fact that he and I lost 10 years, but neither of us would be where we are today had it not been for those 10 years we were apart! :thumbsup2

We'll be celebrating 16 years on May 23, but November 2 marks 20 years that we have been together. :lovestruc

Our first date anniversary is flag day 1990 :) I can remember that easier than my "real" anniversary.

When he was driving, I was in kindergarten....:scratchin

The year I was born, DH was in kindergarten. Which, as adults, isn't too bad. However, when I dated him when I was in high school, it was quite the scandal. I was quite the good girl, and he was quite the bad boy. No one thought we'd last and 15 years later.... My parents hated him. Now if they had to choose between him and me, they qutie possibly would pick him. He's much nicer than I am.

My family has a history of long marriages.

My parents have been married for 34 years (35 years in May) and have been together for more than half their lives. They were also high school sweethearts.

My grandparents have been married for 63 years (64 years in Feb) and have been together for most of their lives.

So if and when I ever get married, I hope it will be a long one!!!

LOL, kind of the same with me. My wife's parents have some money and I well didn't have any. We dated and they weren't excited about it. I was delivering pizza when we got married and they were less than happy. However 3 grand kids later and I'm making pretty good money I think they are happy with how it turned out. Plus I only smack her around when she talks back. :rotfl2:
