For all of you faux handbag ladies...how much do some of these usually cost? I'm not really an expensive purse purchaser, but I wouldn't mind it if I could find something nice for pretty cheap...

I don't really do shoes, but I am a purse girl. But I tend to buy one and use it until it falls apart...or I'm bored of it...and that's usually for quite a while. I don't change bags on a daily basis. Heck...I haven't changed back over to my purse since I got back from MF! I'm still using my Baggalini!

Same here, one of our favorite stops on our Road trip was St. Augustine. Cool fort and neat historic village.

I ended up only buying a Coach wallet for my niece. It was a copy of this one. http://www.coach.com/content/product.aspx?product_no=7462&category_id=1267 And it was $15. I am pretty sure I could have gotten it cheaper, but I only found one person who had the check book style. She has a real Coach and the color is slightly different (it's the white/black one). Honestly, you can barely tell the difference.

I know some die hards who would argue that they can spot the fakes. Hopefully I don't sound like a lady, but since my wife is a purse junkie, I've gotten pretty good at spotting the designers and which are fakes. They have gotten much better recently though. Usually the loud ones with the name plastered all over it are the fakes!

Oh, it's ok to sound like a lady. I agree with you. I was impressed with the quallity of some of the stuff in the Straw Market. Could someone who knew what they were looking for still tell it was a fake? Yes. I think the Bahamian fakes are a little bit better because they don't have to worry about getting in trouble if they make a direct copy. They just go for it and copy it directly. In the US I think they try to make the fakes a little bit different (G instead of C on Coach) so they don't get in trouble.

My husband has the same eye for fake Jordans and jerseys. They are so popular on Ebay he can spot them from a mile away.

Wow, good for you. I haven't been married half my life yet, but I have been with the same person for over half. Wife 1 and I have been dating since we were 16. So we have been together for almost 19 years.

Ok, can't believe I'm talking purses...but here goes. I'm do like coach, I carry a coach wallet and its indestructible. Coach stuff seems put together well and last longer than a lot of the more expensive stuff like D&B and Prada. My wife has sworn off Prada after paying over 300 for a purse that fell apart. I bought her a nice Burberry diaper bag with child number 3 that held up great. Once in a while I'll splurge and get her a purse for a gift, I usually stick with D&B or Isabella Fiore.
