We've got no official plans yet. Probably do a park or something...maybe...I don't know. Since we won't be doing a park before the cruise, we'll most likely find our way to one or two on Thursday and Friday. Since I missed MK this last time, i'd like to try and hit that for a bit...and of course, I must got to MGM...must ride ToT!!! Friday will probably be spent at Epcot, since that's DH's favorite park.

Smart man

and that is DATW. :drinking1:

And DATW!!!! (nudge, nudge) ::yes::
Heck...i'll probably still be hungover from the cruise by then anyway! :lmao:

So far, the only info that I am finding on the sunset safari thing I won says it's offered on Friday nights. I think it starts at 4pm and they said it lasts about 3 hours with dinner. (But I did read that dinner at Jiko includes the wine pairings! ) So DH and I will have to find you guys at Epcot afterwards. But isn't Friday, at least at this point, an EMH night for Epcot? I know that lots seems to shut down in the World Showcase, but it would extend our fun together for a few more hours!

I see this is the bunch to help me work on DH and DVC! We were close to buying before but we did not. :sad2:

As for our plans - we will be arriving on the 8th and staying at the Dolphin, likely getting a rental car.

We are staying 2 nights post cruise at the Dolphin as well.

We plan to be at the Poly/Dole Whip/Wishes thing, but with DD we will skip Jellyrolls.
Cape May Breakfast is a plan, but I have to check that thread for updates - are we all making separate ADR's?

I am pretty sure the plan was to have one big ADR...but Brandie would be better to answer that one.

We are planning to meet around 8:15ish and we are going to try to make one ADR.
I need to call them to get details on how we might be able to book this under one ADR. I'll try to call them today...I can sit on hold while I'm cleaning the house. :headache:

I'm sure you'll be able to find us. Definately call. Not sure if EPCOT has an EMH that night or not. Disney still has not posted May park hours yet. :sad2:

I know Nicole's husband is planning to do the Segway tour. It is a big probably for me. Anyone else? Come on Pete. I trip over fuzz. I am such a big klutz. I have done the Segway tours at both Epcot and Ft. Wilderness. The one on Naussau sounds a bit like the Ft Wilderness, which I think is 10 times better than the Epcot one and the Epcot one is Fantastic.

Are you going to sign up for the morning tour? I think there is one in the afternoon too. I almost did this on our last cruise, but decided at the last minute to not do it. I was sort of glad because it was cold that day in Nassau. (Ok, no where near as cold as today in Pittsburgh)

I had another question. If you stay at the Dolphin how do you get there? I know a rental car is an option, but what are the transfer options? I am used to getting ME for free.

I think that I'm going to have James do the morning tour. That way we have the rest of the day to do something. When do I need to sign up for this? Is this something I do in February?

Yes, you do this online in February. I did a lot of research on our last trip and it looked like a lot of fun. I posted on the cruise forum and some people wrote and said they had a good time. I believe it is a fairly new tour. I will have to see if I can talk my DH into it. He doesn't want to leave our son in the playroom.

A DISer left a voicemail review of it on this weeks e-mail show.

I will have to try to listen to that tonight on my way home. I just started the discussion show. I am usually behind.

Listening to the email show now and a few comments on Mike's Nassua segway tour suggestion. A lot of us are sitting on the sidelines waiting to hear about Podcast Cruise events. My feeling is a Podcast Team led segway tour would be HIGH INTEREST. A lot of people will want to do this and I've got to believe there won't be enough segways or we will easily exceed group maximum limits. This could be a highly touted prize if formed into a contest. :drive:

Are you hinting at something George?? If so, I think you've got a stellar idea!:thumbsup2

Taxi, town car or rental car are your options.

Are there taxes or gratuities on the shore excursions?

The prices listed are what you will be charged. They do suggest a tip if your guides deserve one. Most times we give one, sometimes not. This would be in cash of course.

Strange Cruise question....anyone know Pikey? He was a real gem on our last cruise and I'd heard he moved up the ladder. Is he still on the magic or is it possible he moved to the wonder?

Just do it! We wish we had done it sooner. There are usually some good incentives on the cruise if you buy then. If you have any questions, I'm happy to offer whatever information I have. :goodvibes

I'm not totally caught back up on this threat, but it looks like we're talking about the 5k for next year? That would be so much fun! I'm doing the Princess 1/2 March 10th with a groups of Disers. We're looking into ordering pink hair things with lime green crowns on them! You know you're jealous! We also have our team DIS/WISH shirts in green. I know you guys will be with me in spirt. I don't actually expect anyone else to get out of bed that early! :rotfl:

About Thursday (and Friday)...

Since we'll be at BWV post-cruise, we plan to do Hollywood Studios on Thursday afternoon/evening and Epcot on Friday (including the DATW that night).

I am thinking about the morning tour. That leaves the afternoon for hanging out on board and if the Podcast crew has anything planned.

I am doing a town car for myself. I think my step mother is going to use the Mears Shuttle.

By the way, it took me TWO HOURS to get home last night. It is normally no more than 1/2 hour. Traffic was an absolute nightmare.

As far as Thursday goes, I will have to see what my step mom wants to do, she won't have park tix. We will probably see what's going on around the Boardwalk and maybe go to DTD. Unless she just says, go have a good time, I don't mind if you leave me alone. But I probably will be a good step daughter and hang out with her. Friday Saturday and Sunday are all mine since she is leaving on Friday (if not Thursday)
