First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise Take Three

Hello everyone!!!!!! Longtime no post. It's been a pretty crummy holiday. My elderly father slipped on the ice a week ago and hit his head (hard). He's been hospitalized twice since then. One of our dogs had to have emergency surgery on Christmas Eve. She was hospitalized for two days, but is now recuperating at home. I'm off work until Monday, but almost wish I could go back NOW! I just want this holiday to be OVER.

Anyway - I bit the bullet and ordered our FE gifts today. They came in quantities that jumped from 50 to 100, so I went ahead and got the 100 for a few dollars more. Then I'll at least know I have one for all of the cabins participating, with some leftover. Hopefully the actual podcast crew will tip us off as to where they are, so we can gift them too!

Look at that countdown! Thank GOODNESS it's getting closer!

I felt that way about the year 2006. I was diagnosed with cancer in January and broke my shoulder in December. I was so glad when 2006 was over. The past 2 years have been wonderful.

oh and great surprise today- came into work and had a $100 pottery barn gift card in the mail from a magazine I advertise with at work- woo hoo! time to shop. that was unexpected.

Hi all, made it to Fort Myers, that last leg of the trip. Visiting my Mom for three nights and then off for home. We decided to make it a two day trek home instead of three, hopefully the weather is decent as we get close to home. Be back soon and then of course back to work where I can post like....well like Todd....

My in-laws are near Fort Myers. I adore my MIL, she is the best when she visits.

I love PB, wish I could do the whole house in PB.

Depends on how things go for us. There's a chance that my brother and his wife may not be joining us for this cruise after all...(she's pregnant and may be to far along to go...we'll know more next week)

If they do go, we're doing DisneyQuest that afternoon.

But if they don't go...DH and I have no plans as of yet for the afternoon so it could be a maybe for us!

No dessert party. But there is an un-official pre cruise meet and greet at the Poly beach. Grab a Dole Whip and join us 1 hour before Wishes on the Poly beach to say hello and raise your Dole Whip (or drink of your choice to Bawb). We'll watch Wishes together and the Water Pagent. Afterwards if you are still upright, the gang is moving to Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk.

Since park hours for May have not yet been released, we are saying 1 hour before Wishes to start gathering.

Does it matter has anything been scheduled yet that I would be missing if I made a reservation at palo one night...I know they mentioned the Palo Brunch on the podcast cruise what day was that being held again?????

I may actually be able to keep up with all this traffic now! I was working towards a promotion at work and didn't get it. (no sadness here, though)Once the New Year starts I will have more work time for DIS'ing AND my co-worker is also a DIS'er so my cruise vacation pick should be good. (She doesn't hang out over here as much and can't go)

I have 11 more hours of work tonight - maybe I can catch up on this thread before the end of it

I've attempted this twice now, I prefer my own desert. Don't get me wrong, its a lot of fun, but there are just so many flavors, toppings, etc that I don't like everything they put on it.

It is a lot of fun for a group, but you'll want to know everyone well, since you'll be sharing spoons and double dipping the whole time.
