As promised I have finally (started 23rd Dec) read the first thread - all 263 pages

So now just one thread and a bit and I'll be up to speed with the pre and post meets, the COBettes, looking out for Kim's, buying 'THE' Crocs, avoiding Ursulas cistern (which to me is he bit of the toilet that holds the water - does it have another meaning in the US? ), the special DIS events both official and unoffical (aka the Casino tour with Kevin and John) and what/how to make a FE and distribute goodies

Pleased to be getting the chance of meeting y'all as well as the Podcast crew - roll on May

Wow, that's impressive! You'll be happy to know that thread 2 is a much quicker read as there's less content and more fluff

btw, IMVHO, I think the toilet bowl is a lot scarier than Mindy's well!

Ahhh so a cistern is a well makes more sense now! And when I said the bit that holds the water I've only just twigged that both 'bits' of a toilet hold water I was thinking the bit with the flush mechanism

I have started to think seriously of some kind of get together the night before the cruise. I know this was discussed way back in the first thread, but does anyone remember any details about an Illuminations dessert party? Do they escort people into the park for the party/fireworks and then out again so you don't have to buy admission?

No dessert party. But there is an un-official pre cruise meet and greet at the Poly beach. Grab a Dole Whip and join us 1 hour before Wishes on the Poly beach to say hello and raise your Dole Whip (or drink of your choice to Bawb). We'll watch Wishes together and the Water Pagent. Afterwards if you are still upright, the gang is moving to Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk.

Since park hours for May have not yet been released, we are saying 1 hour before Wishes to start gathering.

OK, that works. I'm sure my step mother won't mind heading to the Poly for the evening. Maybe we can go to Ohana for dinner Or maybe not.

I will have to stop at the Boardwalk Bakery for a piece of chocolate mousse cake. I adore the Boardwalk Bakery.

Good thing - we are a dangerous duo - TWI* is not recommended, but can yield interesting results (which are erased with backspaces).

* TWI = Typing while intoxicated.
