so speaking of excursions----has anyone decide what they are doing if anything in nassau?

I think we are considering the Atlantis tour- not the waterpark thing- just the hotel/property tour thing. I hate to miss anything going on on the ship with the podcast crew though if they have events planned too!

My DH is going to Atlantis. He has to play poker. He's mad that I'm making him go on a cruise without a casino, so this is something I have to allow. Whether or not I get off the ship with him depends on what might be planned onboard.

Is there a gambling contingent that is hitting the casino? Can I attach my husband to your group?

I'm hopeful to get off the boat and go make a few bets at the Atlantis Casino. I'd also like to just check the place out in general...Maybe hit a shop or two. Not a must, but I'd certainly enjoy it. If there is a Podcast event going on during our stop in Nassau we'll stay on the ship.

DH is doing the Segway Tour. The girls and I will stay on the ship while he is gone. When he gets back, we'll walk around the Straw Market.

btw- was it you guys that were going to do the keys to the kingdom tour on Saturday? I thought it was you- we are going to book soon- have you guys booked yet? if so, which time? I believe there is 8, 8:30 and 9. We were thinking 8:30? we are going to try and get breakfast at Kona Cafe first at like 7am before the tour.

Yes, that was us - I was also leaning towards the 8:30 tour. We haven't booked yet, does it have to be at the 90 mark like the dining adrs now? Let me know when you think you will be booking. We'll probably just have breakfast somewhere at the Dolphin since I'm going to make adr's for Kona that night!

Just curious, but is your 8 year old Daughters going to be signed up for the Oceaneer Lab? I only ask because our Daughter will be signed up for the Lab as well and she will be 9. I wasn't sure of the age limits, but I think the Lab is 8 years old.

Parasailing question...since there are some here who have done it...how is it?

I am thinking of it. DH is thinking of taking pictures from land. DD is too young. Is it fun? Will I be too terrified up there? I like flying, and heights, but have occassionally suffered sudden & bizzarre fears on say ferris wheels...

How does one get back down?

I found parasailing very cool and peaceful. I got some great pictures. Coming down is very easy and slow. The guys didn't even dip me in because I had my camera, but DH got extra dips!

I'm actually thinking, if we have an hour or two, of going back over to Atlantis. I went over there a few years ago and saw it - loved it - but didn't have a chance to go back in June when I was there.

But if they crew has something planned all day - then i'm not getting of the boat!!!
