On our cruise in 2007, I wore a sundress that I found at JC Penneys over my swimsuit while on the islands. On the ship, I had a pair of shorts and one of those white gauzy-like long tops that I wore over my swimsuit. :)

Soda! Soda! I''m not carrying no stinkin' soda. It's the hard stuff all the way.

Thats the talk Kathy! :cool1:

Well if I would have had him try to fill it with fifths, it would make us appear to be lushes. Soda is family friendly.:goodvibes

If we are all lushes, then it would appear not to matter. ;)

Hey, just noticed my post count is over 6000 and no one said anything :sad2:

What's a girl gotta do to get a little love around here :confused3

Very cool Tracy! :yay: :woohoo:  :yay: :woohoo:

What's the problem with that?! :rotfl:

:dance3: :dance3: Go Tracy, it's your burfday, Go Tracy! :dance3: :dance3:

I have a question for y'all who have done excursions on Castaway Cay before:
Is there time to do multiple excursions? Like say, parasailing and the jet ski eco tour (even though Regina had a not so great time)?

That's a lot of running around. Leave some time to walk around saying oooohhhh, aaaahhh, it's so pretty, I never want to leave, also leave time for lunch YUMMY! I would vote for parasailing. We did that on Castaway and it was so cool!

I have a "fashion" question regarding the cruise - I have seen some adorable long dresses that are actually cover-ups for swimsuits. Do people wear their swimsuits with cover ups over them to walk around on the ship and around the bahamas, or is that tacky? By cover-ups I mean something like this:

Yes, they wear them. And there are some people that don't that should. KWIM? You'll look lovely! I really like this one.

 I can't believe I forgot to post this. I even made myself a note. They had lime green Mickey Ears at Mouse Gear at Epcot and also at Magic Kingdom in a store, if you're facing the castle, that was on the left. They were on a wall with a bunch of other hats and things. They were $11.95. I couldnt' get them cause we're in a spending holding pattern right now, but I thought I would pass it along to anyone who might be interested.

I only have one of those sundress type things - guess it is time to think of shopping. Me & DD both...

So there are at least three of us with said cooler.....now I guess I will have to go talk to my new best friends at JoAnn's on how I can zazz it up and make sure I know which one is mine. (Luggage tags are soooo boring and passé :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )
i am picturing a totally 'bejeweled' cooler! lol

i need to get on the ball and order one and some other stuff i saved in the shopping cart on disney outlet!

I wonder if you can order these by calling WDW Merchandising?

Parasailing question...since there are some here who have done it...how is it?

I am thinking of it. DH is thinking of taking pictures from land. DD is too young. Is it fun? Will I be too terrified up there? I like flying, and heights, but have occassionally suffered sudden & bizzarre fears on say ferris wheels...

How does one get back down?

This is the link to the first page of my trip report from September. Scroll down to the chapter listing, you want chapter 31 - click on it and it will go straight to that chapter. It's our parasailing at the Contemporary. It's run by the same company that does the Castaway Cay boats. At the end of the chpter is a link to the next chapter - the story continues through chapters 32 and 33.

i have some like that too-super cute! i will probably wear it around the ship- comfort baby!

btw- was it you guys that were going to do the keys to the kingdom tour on Saturday? I thought it was you- we are going to book soon- have you guys booked yet? if so, which time? I believe there is 8, 8:30 and 9. We were thinking 8:30? we are going to try and get breakfast at Kona Cafe first at like 7am before the tour.

TRACY- question for you- we are currently booked with Hertz and plan to drive from MCO to Dolphin and then on sunday from the hotel to the port and return the car. as you know, we are doing the one way transfer back to MCO after the cruise.

I realized after reserving it though- that Hertz is off site at MCO. which is a pain! Is there another rental company you recommend that is on site at MCO and ALSO has easy return access near port? I usually use National Emerald aisle but I couldn't seem to find a drop off near port for some reason. THANKS!!!!

so speaking of excursions----has anyone decide what they are doing if anything in nassau?

I think we are considering the Atlantis tour- not the waterpark thing- just the hotel/property tour thing. I hate to miss anything going on on the ship with the podcast crew though if they have events planned too!

I was in Nassau in June 2008. Unless the team has something planned off the ship - I'm not going to get off the boat!!
