They haven't specifically said when any events will be, but did say that there wasn't available room on the ship to do things on the sea day, so any events would be while we were in port.

And that they say didn't want to cut into a lot of time at Castaway Cay, correct....

Actually, you won't need to worry about your luggage at all. You will receive a notice in your room telling you to leave your luggage by the door and someone will pick it up. This is great. You will leave your luggage by the door of your room at the BCV and the next time you will see it is when it is delivered to your cabin on the ship. You won't have to shlep it anywhere.

Thanks Kim. Didn't know that. So, we won't even need to bring it down to the lobby Sunday morning. Very convenient.

I'll bet that if your passengers would walk with you...unless you really want them out of your car...

I'm thinking that you'll be sick to death of them by the time we, I mean, you hit the port. You're gonna heave us, I mean, them out the car door as you drive by!

We're using DME and DCL transfers too and I didn't know this part! Very cool! We're trying to not take a lot of luggage, but it's tough when you're going to be gone for a whole week and you have to have "nicer" clothes for dinner, bathing suits, and a whole lot of Fish Extender gifts! It will be nice to not have to lug that big duffle bag around.

This is what I'm trying to get details on. I'd be a lot quicker getting back to the port on the rental shuttle without luggage to haul. Even if DW had to sit around the terminal for 30 mintes while I was gone that would be ok. She could take pictures.

I could be wrong, but I can't see a reason you could drop off the luggage and both go to the car rental place. That is if you don't want to be separated.

Also, if you do the online check in and leave your passport with your DW she can check in and get your boarding number. I have never done this, but on the cruise boards they say it is possible.

Definitely drop the all the luggage off before you park. The parking lot is right across the street and they can wait in the security line while you park.
