Wow, I log on and see we are talking pink furred handcuffs. You dirty birdy cheeky monkeys!

Morning everybody :wave2:
just checking in-
I am at the office (ob/gyn office in the inner city) and none of my pts are showing up today. Must be the sunshine- although it is deceiving- waaay too cold still!
It is giving me a chance to catch up!
just 73 days until I am there- seems like time is just flying by now!
I better get going on my FE and gifts!

Hi Sandy. Glad you checked-in. 73 more days is almost 10 weeks. Woo!!!

things have def slowed down on this thread I am actually able to keep up somewhat for once :lmao:

Where did everybody go?

I don't know where everybody else is, but I'm in training for the Princess 1/2 and that's in two weeks now so that thread is really rolling. As it's my first 1/2 marathon, I've been giving it a lot of attention and so can't be here as much. I do miss you guys though! :grouphug:

Technically...that time period for DH was Post-Brandie & Pre-Brandie. It was a rather dark and interesting 10 or so years for him...

Did you follow that one? :rotfl:

That y'all were together and then apart and then together and then apart and now together? Whatever it means, any time without BrandiE is the dark times.

Morning all! I've been swamped, but wanted to say HI.

:wave2:

I know the feeling! Hi Don! :goodvibes

DP decided we should have a non-internet night. We watched Family Guy on TBS after we went out and got a bite to eat. It was nice, but in the back of my mind I kept wondering what was going on here.:confused3

My DH wouldn't even try that (nor would he want to probably). I would just tell him to stick it anyway.

"Raytheon Company plans to unveil an interactive, math-based experience at Innoventions at Epcot, set to open fall 2009. "The Sum of All Thrills" will engage children through a fun and educational experience that helps instill a lifelong passion for math, science and technology. The new exhibit will be a core component of Raytheon’s MathMovesU program, an initiative designed to engage middle school students in math and science, and help create the next generation of innovators for the U.S. In addition, Raytheon will be supporting another 2009 initiative at the Walt Disney World Resort: the 2009 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Competition, which will take place May 7-10, 2009, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. The competition is the culmination of an enrichment and coaching program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement in every U.S. state and territory. Raytheon is the title sponsor of the MATHCOUNTS National Competition for the next three years, through 2011."

I wonder if this is anything like the old F.I.R.S.T. competitions that were held at Epcot. I doubt that a bunch of math geeks will compare to Pop Warner or a Brazilian invasion... Too bad for me the experience doesn't open until fall--guess it's a reason to go back. More info on the mathletes coming to the mouse, here.

:scared: ...... :faint:

Math terrifies me. Seriously. I can't even give change!

I keep Jaws on my DVR. I'm trying to get DD11 to watch it with me but she refuses. I say... "But, it's a CLASSIC!" and she says... "NO!!". What is a mother to do?

Jaws just one time is blasphemy. :scared1:

My family was not into movies at all. When I was dating my DH I told him I had never seen the Godfather. I think he almost broke up with me. :lmao:

Ok, my dumb question for the day. It is May 11th we will be in Nassau?

You are not alone. My parents do not do movies at all. The only movie I was taken to by my mom as a kid was the 2nd re-release of Cinderella in 1965! :scared1: I didn't go to a drive-in until I had my own car.

Never a dumb question when it comes to the cruise!...

May 10th (Sun) Port Canaveral
May 11th (Mon) Nassau
May 12th (Tue) Castaway Cay
May 13th (Wed) At Sea
May 14th (Thu) Port Canaveral

DH's actually says the floggings will continue until morale improves...he says he got it at some Renaissance Fair in California. That was pre-Brandie...:rotfl:

Is that like near-Beer? :rotfl:

REVISION IN THE TEXTS:
The time era previously known as PB (pre-Brandie) shall from henceforth be described as a period of great longing and sorrow. PB is here to with called the Second Dark Age.

Ah. That makes sense. Or at least sounds reasonable.:goodvibes

Just say NO to your inner math geek!! lol
(And yes, I realized I got the next pre-cruise prime number wrong; it's tomorrow - 73, THEN 71!!!):rotfl:

I took my days off when I was working at Epcot to go sit in a temporary structure and bake over hot asphalt to go watch these robots do stuff.

I will have a couple of free hours on Friday morning/afternoon.......:scratchin:
