This wasnt an "all call" to move to FL. These were simply my reasons for moving

I'm from the snow belt...ask Launchpad and Cocowum.... I understand snow and ice.

And just so you know....

Hurricanes dont really bother me that much. You know they are coming for 3 weeks ahead of time.

I usually have to pay to see alli-gators.

I dont have to scrape seniors in socks and sandals off my windshield.

As a last resort we would drive down. We have done it in the past with no problems. I'd rather fly though.

Thanks George. Our flight leaves at 0700 so I'm guessing we'll be ok. This area is nice to visit, but living here sucks!

I lived throught the 1991 ice storm here in Rochester- no power for close to 2 weeks in 20 deg. weather. I will take the humidity, stay inside and gaze out the windows at the sunshine and palm trees- ahhhhh
