On my last (one and only) cruise I went to Mexico. On a shore tour we rode in an old school bus down a rutted road to the Mayan ruins at Talum. Talum was very beautiful, but overrun by cruise ship tourists. (A little like Main Street USA on the 4th of July.) That was 10 years ago. For some reason I could never talk my husband into another cruise. I'm thinking this one will be different, but how do they handle the fact that everybody gets off the ship at once and heads for Castaway Cay?

Not to worry. It can get a little congested getting off the ship, but once you're off it's awsome on Castaway. There can be a line if you wait to get back on the ship until the last minute. That was annoying. According to my DH, Cookie's BBQ has the best ribs on Earth. Here's a couple of scraping layouts that show Castaway a little bit.

My last piece of advice is try not to miss any of the shows. They are really and truly awesome!
