Umm..yea...if its on an HD channel I'm watching it. What annoys me almost as much is when people watch it with the bars on the side....yuk...

That is so funny. My DH hates it when people stretch the picture. Honestly, we watch almost nothing that is not in HD.

I haven't been to Canada in a long time. Maybe once the weather clear I will go for a drive. I love Niagara Falls.

Last time I was at the Falls, we were going to stop, but parking (at the far lot) was $20 US. This was when the US$ was much stronger than the Canadian$....I said no way!! We drove up to the park and back down. I've been a couple dozen times, so I can wait.

Are you referring to the cruise or the Poly meet? This is why I'm doing the Poly meet before the cruise. Get myself good and liquored-up first and then make my grand entrance. Hopefully, making the cruise meet a bit less stressful. ::yes::

Pathetic. I know.
Not pathetic at all! :scratchin

My plane touches down sometime in the late AM.....it's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?
We'll need to form a party train from the airport to the Dolphin...:rotfl: I think Jen and her DH are riding with me and Matthew and we're planning a liquor stop. Wanna follow/lead? :rotfl:

Hmm...two words...Chain....and saw...
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Both of course!!!

I'll admit it takes some getting used to, but most TVs will just stretch the sides and not the middle now so its not as bad. I just feel like I'm wasting my 57 inches of manliness if I don't use it all!!

Ugh. $20 is steep. I can't remember what we did last time we were there. A couple times we have stay at hotels that were close. That was before the dollar was so weak.

My DH just like to go to Canada to get Poutine at McDonald's. Or any other place we eat.

I can't stand that either! Back when they had HD-Ready models, I made sure the stretch mode looked good. Got a 53" Pioneer (rear projection). Great TV until we lost the green color on it. Now everything is shades of pink/blue/black. Food looks awful without the green. ANYWAY, we lived with that TV for well over a year. This past Dec. I replaced it with a 52" Samsung LCD. Love it. Sound on it isn't as good as the Pioneer but hey, at least salads are green and not grey! My DBIL has some kind of junk on his wall and the people are short and fat. YUCK! Who likes watching that?! :sad2:

We only have 42" so not nearly as manly. I think we will get 46" for our next TV.

I have plenty of that looking in the mirror.

I'm limited in space. Our TV sits in what's supposed to be a built-in space. We don't have the cabinets....yet. (Only been here, what, 9 damn YEARS!!!!:furious:) In other words it's a cubbyhole. I always get the biggest TV I can though. There's about 1" to spare on each side right now. It's plenty big enough though. I couldn't tell it was smaller than the Pioneer.

FYI...

JAWS is starting on HBO right now. God I love that music.

Dangit. I gotta go pick up DD at school and make a run for some chicken feed in a couple of minutes.

DVR is my friend.
