I agree. Is there a "group" photopass for the cruise yet? I expect to have one, maybe two park days. DD has to try the KP adventure at Epcot, and really I can't imagine staying at the Dolphin & not letting her have a park day. We don't get down there often enough.

In fact, on our last trip we flew home exactly one year from when we will return from the cruise.

We are still using the PS3 for Blu-Ray. That was the toy I came home to find when I took Dsis to WDW last January. I prefer the Wii over any of the playstations. Once DH decided the new TV was in order, I had to get new furniture to make it all work. Now my living room feels 2 feet wider, I have extra seating AND I have new spots to show off some of my pictures.

We did the same thing when we got our Plasma. It makes our living room seem so much bigger.

Does it drive anyone else crazy when people have HD TVs and watch standard definition TV on it all the time? My parents have regular cable hooked up to their LCD and it makes me crazy.

Unless you keep the DISboards up all the time, even if you are logged in all the time it should work and take you to the last post you read (or actually, the last post that was entered the last time you were on the DISboards).

Since I'm logged in right now, even if there are threads I haven't looked at, if I go away for a while and then come back to the site later and use the arrow, I will come to the last post that happened when I was last on the site. So it's not just the last post you read, it's the last post that was entered last time you were on the site.

We weren't going to fork over for the extra on the digital cable - yet. Then our cable box lost it's hard drive. Shucks. DH returned it and they were out of "regular ones" he said fine, you can give me the HD for the same price. There may be some sticker shock in my future...

When I hooked up my LCD TV to the cable it decoded the digital cable. It decoded about 15 TV channels and 30 music channels. I just up-graded my cable to the HD box with the DVR. I don't know how I lived with-out the DVR. That is the greatest invention.

I got a white 19" insignia LCD TV for my craft room/office and LOVE it! It was on sale for $199. The old TV needed a digital converter so why spend $40 when I can spend $200? . Of course it looks a heck of a lot better, too! Now the only snow I see is outside.

I'm busy with my photopass photo's right now...
We have made 180 photos when we were down in December and i've turned them into a total of 2500 photos and still not finished, so i figured out that it will be around 3000 photos when i'm finished.....

We have pre-purchased the photopass CD.

That's a lot of pics! I just pre-ordered the CD last week. We head to WDW next Tuesday!

Also, for everyone trying to lose weigh before the cruise like me. I came in this morning and there were Dunkin Donuts at my office. Ugh.

Donuts are my FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer Krispy Kreme over DD though. But hey, I ain't turning down ANY donut. I don't care where it comes from.

Our cable still does not charge extra for HD. You have to pay the $12 or whatever for digital, but the HD channels are included.

The last time I was onboard the photopass for the cruise wasn't in full swing and it will operate different than on land. I wouldn't count on this. It will be tied to your Key to the World card.

Totally possible, since your expanding 1 port into several you are really just breaking up that one port into several smaller ones. There are some engineering details involved, but think of taking a hose and breaking into 4 smaller hoses, your getting a lot of water thru the big hose, but with the 4 attached they will all only get 1/4 the stream...

Hmmm, makes sense - thx dpuck To continue your hose analogy...is it that the 4 ports each have a quarter of the power regardless how many are in use. That is, if I am using all 4 usb ports they each get a quarter power each but if I use only 2 usb ports then they each get half the power? Or is it that once the ports are split (4 ports from 1) their power cannot be rejoined? Or have I just totally confused you
