First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise Five Alive

So today was an eventful day. I posted what I thought was my final payment...only to discover that we didn't even have our reservation! :scared1:

Well, we had a reservation but DCL kinda screwed things up. A few months ago, we did some reservation shuffling that Tracy was an angel to help us with. DCL was supposed to take our original deposit and transfer it over. Yeah...well...they didn't do what they were supposed to. :sad2:

Thankfully, Tracy's the most awesomest agent that i've ever dealt with (well, save for myself of course) and she was swift and went to my defense with DCL. They realized their screw up and re-booked everything immediately but we lost the cabin that we thought we had. :guilty:

We're no longer on deck 7. At least for now anyway...

We are currently on deck 5, but we're hoping that we'll find our way back up to deck 7 again...DCL claims to be working on it, but no guarantees. We're in the same category as before...so no worries there.

Tracy's a saint. She went to bat for us and is beating down DCL on my behalf. :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: She's fiesty...

I was pretty livid earlier when I found out. Not at Tracy, of course. When i'm that angry, I cry. My sister-born-of-another-mother-and-father (you may know her as Jen :) ) helped talk me down from the ledge. Todd helped a little too. You guys rock. :grouphug:

All that matters is that we're on the cruise and we have a place to sleep. Heck...who's gonna be sleeping anyway???

Glad we could help a little. :grouphug: Fun on a Boat! Fun on a Boat!

Does anyone want any Lime Green Mickey Heads from Home Depot? I have a stack from my last couple of trips.

Kim

Well as a matter of fact, I was just talking to DP on the way home from dinner that we need to do a Home Depot raid. But I am getting more than just Lime Green.....I guess I'm not a purist.:confused3

OK, so what's everyone doing about trip insurance? We never get trip insurance, so I really have no clue. The only thing I'm worried about is something medical on board. I've been on insuremytrip.com but I'm still confused as to what type of coverage we need. :confused3

What are you guys doing?

We're rolling the dice and going without trip insurance. We've never purchased trip insurance either and luckily it's always worked out. But, getting it isn't a bad plan.

We bought trip insurance, but we did it back in October. We needed the kind that allows you to cancel for any reason. The medical stuff is just bonus. All I cared about was being able to cancel for any reason at all...

Aaron, you're a wild man!

Paul thinks we should take this route. I guess I don't have anything else to obsess about. :rotfl:

Its even more confusing than trying to find car insurance. I don't know that I want to risk it, given my past health record, but I don't know where to begin.......

Just out of curiousity, where do you shop?????? I've never seen that in any catalog I shop in.

We are planning on Trail's End on Thursday the 14th. We are all coming from different resorts. And all coming back from the Cape through varying methods of transport. Would it behoove us to make a bunch of separate ADR's and eat as we come in our little groups and then go en mass to the MK, or should we make a giant ADR and wait for everyone to show up?

Todd, are you feeling better?:goodvibes

Yeah. We went grocery shopping and out to eat. I love grocery shopping. And especially when I use my coupies and save money. Seventy-six dollars worth of stuff for twenty-eight. I love bargains.:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Since I am traveling alone I vote for the group ADR. Did we decide about what time we wanted to eat? We also need to decide who will make the ADR's. I think we can do Trail's on Thursday.
