We bought trip insurance, but we did it back in October. We needed the kind that allows you to cancel for any reason. The medical stuff is just bonus. All I cared about was being able to cancel for any reason at all...

We're rolling the dice and going without trip insurance. We've never purchased trip insurance either and luckily it's always worked out. But, getting it isn't a bad plan.

Aaron, you're a wild man!

Paul thinks we should take this route. I guess I don't have anything else to obsess about. :rotfl:

I was mad at first for losing the original cabin, but all that matters is that we're on the boat. I could sleep in a deck chair for all I care! :rotfl:

Which company did you go with?
We used insuremytrip.com to find it, and then went with Travelsafe. :thumbsup2

But in order to get the cancel for any reason clause, you have to purchase the insurance within 2 weeks of making your initial deposit.

Yep...it happened this afternoon at work. Great fun let me tell ya...:rotfl:

I wasn't going to say anything, but wanted to publicly acknowledge Tracy for her help with this...:flower3:

Yea...Tracy is awesome! Tracy...You are a happenin' Dudette!!!! :)

I am still trying to get over my cold. And my gym cancelled the one class I like on Monday's because not enough people were going. I guess my being sick for the past 2 Mondays didn't help.

I'm sure I am being so subtle trying to get to be 1500, that no one will notice. :rolleyes1

I'm so confused! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Maybe I should just go with the flow...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So today was an eventful day. I posted what I thought was my final payment...only to discover that we didn't even have our reservation! :scared1:

Well, we had a reservation but DCL kinda screwed things up. A few months ago, we did some reservation shuffling that Tracy was an angel to help us with. DCL was supposed to take our original deposit and transfer it over. Yeah...well...they didn't do what they were supposed to. :sad2:

Thankfully, Tracy's the most awesomest agent that i've ever dealt with (well, save for myself of course) and she was swift and went to my defense with DCL. They realized their screw up and re-booked everything immediately but we lost the cabin that we thought we had. :guilty:

We're no longer on deck 7. At least for now anyway...

We are currently on deck 5, but we're hoping that we'll find our way back up to deck 7 again...DCL claims to be working on it, but no guarantees. We're in the same category as before...so no worries there.

Tracy's a saint. She went to bat for us and is beating down DCL on my behalf. :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: She's fiesty...

I was pretty livid earlier when I found out. Not at Tracy, of course. When i'm that angry, I cry. My sister-born-of-another-mother-and-father (you may know her as Jen :) ) helped talk me down from the ledge. Todd helped a little too. You guys rock. :grouphug:

All that matters is that we're on the cruise and we have a place to sleep. Heck...who's gonna be sleeping anyway???

Hey if you can't get back on deck 7 by the time the cruise comes.
Then I think they should move you up a catagory, (like maybe cat.4)
Then you can be up near Kevin and John, IMHO:goodvibes
