I like it, start a rumor that it cures old age!
I heard ginger was a more natural way to curb sea sickness.....![]()
You know, I should do that more often....maybe I'll skip some rides!![]()
I got the patches for DH and I but the kids are too young for that.
So for my DS11 I got these anti nausa wrist bands that is what the Pharmacist recommended.
As for DS who will be 6 gravol was all she could recomend.
Now I have heard people say the wristbands and Gravol don't work,
so I am hoping to find something when we get to Florida that I can give to the children.
They will be 11 and 6 at that time.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated!![]()

i REALLY need the cruise about now.![]()
These are days when I really wish I could stay home with my son and not work.
i'll have to keep that bonine in mind and try it. I don't usually get prone to motion sickness, but i had horrible morning sickness, and I never want to feel that badly again (thank you zofran for saving me)!
FE gifts are almost done!!! i even took a few pictures of one of them!
Glad you got it.
I'm sure I'll be fine too. I'm usually not a big 'ol chicken, just around water.
Maybe I'll have to start on the alcohol BEFORE I board.
Canadian Club & ginger please.![]()

i was so sick while pregnant (weeks 8-15), that i was on zofran and phenegran both. but my insurance would only allow me like 10 zofran per month (covered anyhow). I was supposed to be taking 2 per day to just get by and manage. Talk about dying. those zofran were like gold.Zofran is SOOOO much better than phenergan. A calm stomach with the ability to hold food down vs. violent seizures. Tough choice.![]()

Doesn't someone make ginger beer?

I have a friend that ate ginger Altoids while she was on her cruise. She said they worked like a charm. I'm not a huge fan of ginger... I kind of think of it like I think of parsley... it's decoration for my sushi.![]()
lol- that stuff was really cheap too- talking $8 etc. for the towel sets. I think the most expensive thing was the shower curtain at $15. can't barely beat that Target! Dh puts up with a lot of my disney stuff- we have posters/lithos framed in the loft/playroom upstairs and all my disney collectibles and frames are up there out of DS's reach. I have a disney frame or two downstairs, but i try and keep it contained for the most part. oh, i do have some kitchen stuff that is mickey too, including hte mickey head pepper grinder!Looks great Michelle!!!!![]()

I swear by ginger. I used to take Dramamine and it worked but I was so dopey with it. Now I use ginger about 3 days prior to the cruise until a day or two into the cruise and bring ginger candies (make sure they are ginger and not just ginger flavored) and it works like a charm!
