First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise Eight is Enough, more than enough

I have never gotten an email when the airlines have change my flight. I check my booking once a week and then everyday the week of the flight.

Earlier this week I was anxiously waiting for a travel agent to call me back so I could book a group cruise for next year that I am excited about. Well my phone starts ringing and I grab it quick with excitemnt and it's a darn recording from Delta Airlines telling me about a time change in my May 9th flight. I'm like aaaaaaaaack. I just want it to hurry up and give me the info so I can hang up the darn phone. This is the first time I have ever gotten one of these recorded messages about a flight change. It is usually an email. My flight now leaves at 6:50am. But it arrives at 9:30am.

I keep it TiVO'd at all times!

I put it on a DVD about 2 years ago. I watched it last weekend.

That happened to us for Mousefest. We were coming home on Saturday night. I prayed for a change and they changed it by 11 minutes. I was able to switch to Sunday instead. No change fee

I love it when this happens.

A couple years ago I was forced to book an afternoon flight for 2 of my WDW trips because Delta wanted $500 more for the morning flight. About 2 months before the first trip they changed the flight time from 2pm to 5pm and I was able to switch to the morning flight for both trips at no extra charged. I was a happy camper.

I am getting sick. I feel horrible. I won't be around much this weekend if I continue to feel like this.

I started my FE last night and it looks OK. I am not a crafty person so I hope it doesn't fall apart. LOL

IT WORKED!!!
Not only did I get my flight changed for free, but now my wife and daughter can come down with me on Friday afternoon and watch us run in the race Saturday morning! I told my wife Kim and she is thrilled! I can't believe how much money and inconvenience you just saved us.

We arrived in Arkansas! Pretty uneventful. Oh, wait, I forgot the projectile vomit all over the backseat. DD has a bit of acid reflux, and she had something that didn't agree with her.

Just checked out the changes coming to FB.
I don't understand most of it, oh well I am sure I will figure it out.

DH is up and sitting on a stool watching some TV.
The swelling seems to be subsiding a bit,
so I am taking this as a good sign.

Sounds like he's on the mend. Tell John we're thinking of him.

Me too. We went to Max & Erma's for dinner tonight and I had an amazing Amaretto Sour. Wish I had another one here at home. Will have to make do with some wine or a Margarita instead.

I just got off the phone with my sister who was reading my facebook posts yesterday about making copies at Staples and asked me "who is Don and what is bow chicka wow wow?" Needless to say, I had to explain it to her and it was sort of embarrassing.

Disney Cruise Lines is on the Travel Channel. Only 15 minutes left though.

Someone help me! We are at MIL's house. We are in the middle of nowhere. The town they live in has about 50 people. They have one store. James went over to check it out. The peanut butter that they are selling outdated in 2006. Heaven help me!

I would have been here, but Ethan decided to tear open a stuffed toy and show Mommy and Daddy the snow in the playrorm.

So for the last hour or so I have been vacuuming and vacuuming and vacuuming. It's everywhere. In the barbies hair, in the toy chest, in the candy land box. The tv was on, but you would have thought the snow channel was on because the static attracted so much to it you couldn't see the screen. Ethan thought it was great. Me, well not so much. He was covered from head to toe. He was wearing black sweat pants and a black and grey shirt. Notice I used the word was.

It's still down there, and I'm sure when we move out some day it will still be there. There is just no way to get it all.

And no, I did not take a picture or video. Though it would have won us a million bucks on AFV.

Oh my! Sorry you had to deal with that mess. Have a cocktail and relax!

Nope! 38 pairs!!! It takes a long time to acquire 40 unique pairs of flip flops. By the time I got to 38 I became bored with my quest. LOL

I got some great ones though... Ed Hardy, Kitson, Kate Spade, etc.
