I'm looking forward to the Indy pre-cruise mini-meet tonight. We just have to find the darned restaurant. (We live downtown and RARELY venture to Castleton. I can't remember the last time I was at that mall.)

Houlihans is on the front side of the mall...Look for Stir Crazy...it sits between Stir Crazy and JC Pennys...

Should I change my parasailing time or just cancel it? From what Tracy has said, she seems to have scheduled me for 11am, the last seating for Palo on Tuesday. The parasailing is scheduled 10 - 11, but it says it is 45 minutes long. Does anyone know how close the boat that takes you parasailing docks to the Wonder? I will need to put on a my dress before I go to Palo. I wonder if I can show up a few minutes late and not have a problem. Or do I change to the 1pm Parasailing and go straight to the Podcast party from there. Dilemmas, Dilemmas Dilemmas.

I can't help too much, but the boats are pretty close to the Wonder. You get off the ship, walk down a little bit and it's, oh, look, boats! HTH

DH had his yearly check up at the dr today and asked if he could have a prescription for the ear patch for the cruise. He was on a fishing boat once and had SEVERE sea sickness ( I know you can't compare a fishing boat to a cruise ship, but....) Anyway, the dr said he doesn't prescribe the patch anymore as the fda is trying to ban them - he gave dh a RX for Compazine - it is for severe nausea. Has anyone ever taken this or heard of anyone taking this for sea sickness? I bought Bonine, but, I thought DH may need something a little stronger.

The patch is called Scopolamine. I have not heard anything about the FDA trying to ban this medication. It is also used to decrease secretions in dying people (not to be too graphic). I am a nurse.... I am actually trying to get a prescription for one as well because I am afraid I will be green and barfing over the edge like that guy in the little mermaid. I just don't have a physician (a nurse without a doctor.. i am such a bad girl). I am trying to see if I can find a nice Dr. at work who will prescribe me one. I have 3 days left to try.

During the day it's not tooo bad. I wouldn't go down there at night though!! I think they have Don's background music on a continuous loop!!!

Speaking of WDW in room internet, I noticed something strange the last time I used it at AKL. While I was hooked up to the internet and had Itunes opened I noticed that there were a bunch (about 6) names listed under library that I had never seen before. When I clicked on one of them it opened a completely different library of songs etc that weren't mine! I assumed that what I was looking at were the Itunes libraries of other people who were hooked up to Disney's LAN connection. I could even click on a song in these libraries and listen. This freaked me out! So I disconnected my computer from the internet and the libraries disappeared. When I reconnected they were back. All I could think of was that other people could possibly see and have access to the files on my computer. I don't know if this was a freak occurance because this was the first time I have ever used Disney's internet. I will find out the next time I bring my computer. The whole thing made me very uncomfortable.

It should only be the ITunes library that's shared. When the last upgrade came out (at least I believe it was the last one) it enables you to share your library with anyone else on that network. I believe you can turn that option off as well.

Thanks Kim - dh's dr wouldn't write the rx - we filled the rx he did write, and it wasn't covered by our insurance so I had to pay out of pocket for it. We'll just have to see what happens - hopefully the seas won't be rough and we'll all be fine. If not, I have plenty of Bonine!

Hey George! Hopefully EVERYONE will be fine on this trip, it would really suck if anyone were to get sick in any capacity. The last time I went on a cruise, which was about 15 years ago and my sisters and I all used the patch and we were fine, so who knows...
