First DVC trip reservations help please

Aug 29 I have 2 separate studios booked for 2 - 4 night stays, (4 separate reservations under same membership..one reserv. for us, one for my parents..)

I was going to try to switch either one of those 4 night stays to a different resort (either AKV or BWV)...This is our first DVC trip so planning is a little trickier than our usual DW vacation... Here's my questions if someone can kindly help:

1) If there is availability, will there be a problem changing 2 studios together...or sometimes is there trouble where one gets changed, not the other? Are they linked in the reservation system?

2) At the 7 mth. window, is it difficult to get studios at AKV and BWV? especially standard view or value?

3) any suggestions or advice? I think if I have trouble with the first 4 night reservations, maybe Sept 2-6 will be easier to switch?

4) I used some borrowed points from Sept 2012 UY....if I change my reservation and the points are less, it is my understanding u can't 'unborrow' points...if so, when do they need to be used by then?

I think my questions are as confusing as I am confused lol ..Please help

I have changed 5 studios together at the 7 month mark. If there's availability, it won't matter.

The value and standards are hardest to get, especially at BWV.

If you borrow points you cannot put them back. You can, however, bank any unused current year points if you are still within your banking window.

No advice. Good luck getting what you want.
