first disney vaction booking!

This is the first time i'm booking a disney vaction myself... i have'nt stayed in the resort itself in at least 12 years and that was with my parents.
Things seemed to have changed a lot.
I remember having the part hopper pass.
I was hopping you wonderful people can answer a few of my questions ....

Does the magic your way pass work the same way....(as the park hopper pass)?


If i book a package deal Disney resort hotel and flight will it also include park admission?

Does AAA usally have the best deals?

You can get the magic your way tickets and ADD park hopping to it (additional fee). You can book a package deal that would include flights and admission, but I think most of the time you can save $ by booking things separately.

AAA rarely has the best deals.

I'm sure you'll get lots of good responses from people on this site. That being said there are so many variables it would take pages and pages to give you all the best info.
In addition to responses you get here go to www.mousesavers.com and click on WDW on the left. They have great cost info on resorts, tickets, packages, available codes for resort discounts and just a ton of info.

I would say definitely don't book the airline fare with the package. Keep an eye on the airlines websites and you can usually find better fares. Park hopping can be added to the MYW tickets for an additional $35 per ticket. That's well worth it IMHO. I like to book my room only and buy tickets not doing a package. How long are you going, and how old are your children. That can make a difference. You also should start looking at which resorts you are interested in. Definitely stay on-site. its for 2 adults no children. I want to stay in the all star or pop at the end of may ....
