We land at 10:15 am and have a 7yr girl and 4 yr boy
What do you think would be the best thing to do with the rest of this day I know the kids are not going to go for just hanging out at the hotel but im not sure what park we sshould do. we have a 5 day hopper plus1 and are also going to universal one day. we will be staying 7 full days and 6 nights

You land at 10:15 so you probably won't get checked in until 11:30 at best. You could make a park by noon with luck Personally I wouldn't burn a day on a hopper pass if I couldn't get in well before that. Kids that age often say the most enjoyable part of their WDW visit is the resort pool. If staying at a WDW resort I'd consider the pool, a visit to other resorts, the Boardwalk or DTD. Last month our crew arrived at Swan about 1 pm and toured BoardWalk, hitting the Brew Company, ESPN Club and the shops. If you can't sell that to the kids, consider dropping your bags at the hotel if your room isn't ready yet and go straight to a park. Disney will take your stuff to your room and it will be there when you return.

I think Epcot is your best bet because by the time you get to your resort & check in it could be 11:30-12:00. MK, MGM & AK will be swamped by then. Epcot might be busy too, especially if it is thier early entry day (you didn't mention what day it was) but Epcot handles crowds better. You can go to World Showcase and see the streetmosphere, shows, some rides (use fastpass), see Illuminations that night and that would get your trip off to a good start.

Tackle MK, MGM, & AK at opening, get there before opening is best and you should be able to get a lot accomplished before the crowds hit around 11:00 or so.

Have fun!

It's iffy about wasting the day on your tickets. You can't get to the parks much before noon-1pm and how tired will everyone be (how early will you have to get up to go to the airport?)

I like the pool idea. Maybe a nice character dinner (Chef Mickey's) and shopping at Downtown Disney (actually this is our arrival day plans most trips) It helps sets the mood, and we can call it an early night, because we know we are hitting the parks early the next day!!

Good point on the early wake up for the air port we will be up by 3am and on the road aat 4 maybe to tired to do any thing but to excited to sit by the pool.
what a teeriable delima ;)

You could think about going to Fort Wilderness. They have a petting zoo, a marina if you want to rent a boat, a restaurant where you could grab dinner, and an outdoor Disney movie. Or, you could take the boat over to Wilderness Lodge, have dinner there, and then come back for the movie. They also have a hayride and horseback riding if that appeals to you... The movie and petting zoo are free -- there's a charge for everything else.
