We are going on our first trip to Disney in Nov. and will be at the park on a FR, Sat., and Sun. It's been said that Friday is a good MK day so that's where we'll start. My question is: Should we start our day there with breakfast at Cinderella's Castle? How long does it take and what time are the seatings? We are staying at BCV. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. I guess another option is the Epcot Princess breakfast on another day. (But the astle fascinates me!!)

We like to make a later PS for CRT. Grab a quick breakfast before you go to the park....muffin, yougurt or the like. Arrive at the MK just before opening and do as much of Fantasyland as possible before it gets too busy, then have breakfast. Also you probably won't want lunch until after 2, thus avoiding the lunch time crowds. You'll be enjoying, while everyone else is standing in line for eats. They really try to turn tables over at the character meals. CRT is a family style meal. That is, they will bring a big tray of food to your table minutes after you are seated. This way they don't have to take your order, and you can begin your meal. You should be out in under an hour. On occasion we have been done eating, and we were still waiting on characters to complete their rounds. Enjoy!

The one nice thing about having an early breakfast at cinderellas castle is that when your done you can go downstairs and wait at the fantasy land entrance for the park to open. We had an 8:05 breakfast and finished up about 8:50. You stand at the ropes and wait for the big clock to chime 9am.( kids thought this was cool ) and then your right there in fantasy land. I think we got on like 4 rides before everyone from the front gate even got down to our area....was kind of like having the whole area to ourselves for a bit. Great way to get on all of the long line rides before there crowded.

Is anyone going to mention the near impossibility of getting any reservation for this breakfast? Or the procedure to attempt to get one?
You must be one the phone dialing pre 7 am on the 90th day out from the day you are looking to book and if you don't get anyone till say 7:05 or 7:10 the seatings are all gone.
Now maybe you already knew that, but figured it should be mentioned just in case you did not.

If your in a resort in which you have conceirge then you will not have a problem getting this reservation. I agree its hard if you try and do it on your own. In terms of just getting into MK early you can always goto the Crystal Palace for the winnie the pooh breakfast...ive never had a problem booking this and you get the same benefit of an early entrance. If your looking at getting a princess experience then the story book breakfast at Norway in Epcot is not that hard to get and is just as exciting in terms of the princess' you get to meet.

Since Friday is not EMH for MK, try and get the earliest possible seating. We did this the last time and got 8:05am. We were allowed into the park way before opening since it was at 9am and was able to get great photos of our DD without anyone around. We then finished eating just as the rope drop was happening and we were already at Fantasyland. However, if you can't get one of the first times between 8 and 8:15 then go for the latest which is (was) 10:20am. This way you can enjoy Fantasyland before the crowds get in and then enjoy a late breakfast. Also, the late breakfast means no one is waiting on your table so as people clear out, you have more time with the princesses.

We have sons so the only person in our family interested in the castle breakfast would be me. We went to Chef Mickey's and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We had a great breakfast and the characters were very friendly! Good luck with your ressies

We had a 9 am PS for CRT on 4/7... It was our 1st day at the Parks and it warmed DD, 2.5 up for the characters... Glad we did it!

Check out the Cindy's advice and encouragement thread on the resturant board. Also use the PS calculator (link is in that thread) to make sure you call on the right date. You need to call at 6:55 EST 91 days out (90 days before not counting the day you want PS on, or 90+1) CRT is pretty hard to get, I guess... I got it on my first try and again on my second try- only I didn't get the time I wanted... we will make do with what we have. If you have a cell phone use that too- If you have another person (with another phone) who will try for you make sure they have your CC info.

Good luck!

And in case anyone looking in was following my CRT or Storybook saga a few weeks back I finally made up my mind, we are doing both! ::yes::

We like to do the first available seating in MK or CRT or CP. I wanted to do this again for our July trip for our first day. We have to activate AP's at MK. Does anyone know what time guest services is open? I don't want to be too rushed, but I really like the earliest seating so we can get right out in Fantasyland as the park opens. Thanks
