I would be weirded out if a guy showed up on a first date with flowers- no, just NO.

The whole point is there's no yes or no. There are different people experiencing life in different ways; no cookie cutter way to approach roles and relationships. If classic works for you, enjoy! But classic is not the only functional method. The ability to have a choice is what's important.

And bringing flowers should not automatically read as Step 1 to Secure Classic Roles. Flowers on the first date can just as simply mean "I thought you might like these flowers."
