It sounds like he likes her and was nervous.

Give him a couple of days and see what happens. If she bumps into him at work, tell her to look happy to see him and have some light chit chat ready...if she can make a cute reference to something that happened on the date, that would probably be good.

Most of all, tell her to relax. It will work out as it should.

Mini update, I talked to her late last night and he hasn't called. He texted to say they would talk "soon"...she did say that she knows for a fact he worked until 10 last night so that is a decent excuse, but I still think he should have called the day after. Today is THREE days after so I told her if he doesn't call tonight, she should probably take the hint. One of our other friends disagrees and says he probably assumes she doesn't want to go out with him again because he did several awkward things during the date. Who knows? Guess she will find out! LOL

I don't think so. If he calls the day after, that's awfully eager. A couple days after is pretty standard. Plus he's been in contact. (Even if I disagree with the method...Lord I hate texts.)

My Mom told me to live by the rule: if he doesn't ask you out by Wednesday for the weekend, you're busy.

I kind of liked it. I modified it a bit. I did two days out (sometimes I really was busy.) Wednesday for Friday, Thursday for Saturday, etc. I'm not going to drop everything for a man. He needs to respect that I have things going on. And yes, sitting on my couch watching a movie and eating ice cream can be my "plans" for the evening thankyouverymuch.
