Hi Folks

I am heading out for two weeks in feb with two young children,

Does anyone have any experiances travelling with first choice ??

1) How are the planes etc
2) How is the in flight entertainment
3) Do they provide much for young children (If not it will be a very long 9-10 hours lol)

Any help would be appreciated

Sorry i cannot help with the first choice questions but, most have in flight films ,though we found that there not really great for young children.

We had our first trip in feb with 2 5 year olds, just remember to take lots of little things they can play with on the plane, crayons, books, mags, few sweets .

Hi there

Ive been twice with First choice and had no problems whatsoever- excellent service in fact. The first in 2001, I flew from Newcastle on first choices' airline Air2000 and the plane was looking a bit past its sell by date and was slower than newer planes (taking 9 hrs 45 mins instead of 9hrs 15) but the journey was fine and the staff were excellent. I remember there being a kids travel pack with a backpack, a magazine and an activity book/ colouring pencils.

Second trip was booked with First Choice but used Thomas Cook airlines- better plane, seat back TV's faster jouney etc etc.

I wouldnt worry though as from what Ive saw in the latest brochures, First choice have got new planes with all the gadgets and gizmos AKA seat back tellys! and a larger seat pitch. Depending on were your travelling from though, you may have a different airline while still having First choice as your travel agent e.g. next year im going from Newcastle again through First choice but with Monarch!

To conclude this lecture (well done for getting to the end) :teeth: First Choice have beebn excellent for me with only cosmetic differences in thast first flight such as the entertainment but as mentioned, new planes look like theyre on their way!

Have a good trip!
