First booking - number of nights?

Hi we are getting ready to make our first booking when our 7 month window opens up for our desired dates. We have been keeping an eye on availability and all looks good. One question: is there a limit to the number of nights that can be booked online? We want to book 8 nights but when I am checking availability on earlier dates I am getting a message that we have exceeded the maximum number of nights. We have enough points!

If you are booking a non-home resort at seven months out, you can book up to seven nights if you book exactly at seven months out from check in. If you wait a day, you can book all eight. Or you can call the second day and add the eighth night.
