I'm late to the party (again!), but awesome TR! I'm looking forward to more!

Thanks so much.. the comments keep me going. This is taking (me) a long time.
Really enjoying your report and photos.

Thanks for posting!
Hope you continue too... almost to the end.
So what part of the Cincy area you reside in. I live out on the west side by Okeana, fly out of I67.
Actually Northern KY. About 15-20 south of the city. Been a while since I've flown though, got to expensive.
Ok, I think we are up to Thrus (only 3 more days for the Fort at this point

)
We went to AK, it was youngest DD first time. Each day since arriving it was getting hotter. Needless to say we didn't stay very long here. Did the normal things...safari, dino land, lion king, train. The youngest DD is scared of everything so we had to pass on bugs life.
One quick pic from AK
Went back to the Fort and finally cooked dinner at the campsite. Brought the camper down with us to save $$ on meals. Who were we kidding, four days and this is our first (and last) dinner we 'made' Burgers on the grill and skyline chili for the girls (a Cincy thing). Went to Chip and Dales sing a long that evening. I must say it was a good time. They love roasting marshmallows and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. Went back Sat night too. Never stayed for the movie either night though.
Before the lighting. You DO NOT have to show up early like we did.
BTW. If you want autographs Dale always goes to the left and Chip to right (as looking at the movie screen)
It was soon time to hit the beach for some '"far away fireworks, don't worry kids" at the beach and the water pageant. I don't think we got one pic of the fire works but from the beach you won't be disappointed. We loved how they pipe in the music/ story from MK. I must stay it does make the Fort very magical.
I know, bad pic
Friday was hanging around the Fort and just kicking back after a busy week. This is what it's all about, just enjoying the reason we drove over 1600 miles round trip. Swimming, kids arts and crafts, cart looping (I have so many videos of the loops) and doing TE for lunch. I was so glad they had pizza on the buffet for my picky DD eaters. (it's not on the menu)
Went to get ice at the meadows. DW took a couple of shots of the food while in there. Yes the famous cheese whiz for almost 8 bucks.
Almost $5 for a small lunch-able
I have no pics of it here but we went fishing at the 1500 loop canals. Yes, I was the grown man with the Barbie fishing poles. We tried a few different things for bait but no bites. Then I remembered the fried chicken bits we snuck out of the TE lunch just for this purpose (thanks DaveinTN). By this time the kids lost interest and went to play tether ball. I continued with the barbie poles and moved to smaller canal, the one that feeds from the entrance of this beautiful loop. OMG, I couldn't believe the hits I was able to get. The forts chicken is highly recommend bait.
While at the pony rides the same day we saw this tower by the ranch covered in vines. Anybody have an idea what it is, or what it was used for???
Sorry for the side view, too lazy to fix at the moment
Almost done with TR. I'll rap up tonight with more Fort pics.
