First 2 weeks of August Crowds

Just got back from a two week trip during the last two weeks of August and had a fantastic time. Because we have annual passes, we are considering going back to the World the first two weeks of August next year (actually 8/4 - 8/15) before they expire.

We thought the crowds were pretty light this year. Some of it probably had to do with the threatening hurricane. We are wondering how much worse the crowds will be the first two weeks of August. We have never been in Florida in the beginning of August. Thanks.

It's still "prime time" for vacation. Usually fairly crowded.

I went in the middle of August and it was so crowded.

We were there 8/15 to 8/25 and the parks were a little more crowded than I thought they'd be (although a little less crowded the closer we got to 8/25). Those who there just after we left reported little to no crowds. We're going to plan a trip for a little later next year in hopes of finding the smaller crowds.

We were there the first week of August, and it was pretty crowded. If you have an AP, I would go. We got an AP and hopped all over the place. We would go to the water parks, Disney Quest, etc. Because we had the AP, we didn't worry that we were wasting any days. Early morning is the best. I just used all the tips that I got from Dis boards. We had a great time.
