30 minuts of taebo then my DD woke up but I got in the ab section so I was happy.

Good morning, got in about 30 mins of taebo when DS woke up but boy did it give a good sweat. Was just on netflix and the Janet Brooks firm tape is the next one scheduled to arrive. I can't wait to try it. The good news is for anyone wanting to try taebo, the boot camp series will be released by netflix Sept. 6.

does anyone know if the firm will be doing any new dvd's soon?

Hi everyone ... busy week here, getting ready for vacation next week. My kids don't go back to school until September 1st ... I'm just not used to them going back before Labor Day.

I think I last checked in on Saturday ... Sunday was Total Muscle Shaping, Monday was golf-league, last night was Complete Body Sculpting. Tonight will be Fat Blasting Cardio.

Norma, hows that hamstring feeling today. I had an issue last week ... one rest day and I was feeling much better. I hope everyone else is having a happy and healthy Wednesday.
 
Good afternoon everyone. This morning was Aerobic Body Shaping with Allie. I tried to increase the intensity of the aerobic segments because I just didn't feel like I was getting enough of a workout.

poohssmum, my hamstring is much better, but now my right knee is acting up. I have a run planned for tomorrow and I hope my knee will be OK.

Have a good night, Norma, hope your knee feels better. Mine gets painful sometimes after too much step! BTW, I know what you mean about kicking up the intensity during her aerobics segements, I never feel like I've got a good workout in unless i add something to it.
 
Good morning firmies, got in Firm yoga again this am. I really like the instructor but I'm just not a yoga person. Finally another firm tape is arriving today. So I think I'll take Mon as my skip day as I have someone coming over for a daycare interview and need to really clean the house. I know this is silly but yesterday I was able to tuck in my shirt to my shorts. It felt so good about it. Doesn't take much!!!!!
 
Good morning!

Today was MCB - the standing legs and abs. TOM is here and I just didn't feel up to working out after the cardio section.

Question: Has anyone had a problem with their fanny lifters cracking? I have a small crack on the purple section that causes it to "give" a bit in the middle. I probably won't be able to order BSS4 for a couple of months yet and I'm worried it will break. :(

Low max with Cathe today. This workout in my opinion is Killer!!!!!!!

Tracy, my handles broke on that deathbox!!! I hated that box with a passion. Just be careful. Lot's of people had problems with that box.

I ran 4 miles today. It felt great to run with no knee pain. :banana:

Tracy, I've never had any problems with my Fanny Lifter. However, I haven't used it at all since I got BSS4 with the Transfirmer a few months ago.

s&k'smom, sometimes it's the small victories that keep us going. WTG on being able to tuck in your shirt!!

sheree', I've read lots of good reviews of Low Max. I really, really, really want to order another Cathe DVD, but I'm trying to stick to my promise not to order anything else 'til September.

poohsmum, where are you going for vacation? Are you planning to workout while you're away?

Cindy, sounds like you're doing well with your workouts. I noticed you did Body Sculpt a couple of days ago. Do you like it? I love Jen but Body Sculpt just has a bit too much lower body work for me. Maybe I should give it another try soon to see if I feel differently about it.

I just used my Transfirmer for the first time. It arrived today and I did Fat
Blastin' Cardio on it. I never had the "DeathBox". :teeth:

I really enjoyed this workout and cannot wait to try the rest of the new DVDs.

Norma, thanks for noticing. I have been doing really well on my 6-week challenge. I have met my goal of FIRMin' 4 times a week and am on week four. I cannot wait for the end of the 6 weeks to re-measure myself and see what kind of progress I have made. My WW has not been as strong as it could be, but life has been extremely busy and I figure the exercise has got to make up for some of it. My DH says he can definitely see the changes in my body. :smooth:

I do like Body Sculpt with Jen. I find it challenging to have all the lower body work in one shot....really gets the thighs burning!!! I find myself just trying to hold on until she finally gets to the upper body work. Even though this video is a few minutes shorter, it really gets my muscles pumping.

Hoping everyone is having a good week. The kids are off to a great start so far in school. Hope they keep it up.....Cindy :grouphug:
 
So I posted in July and slunked away. (Is that even a word?) Now I am back. I bought the Transfirmer in July, tried it for 1/2 video and it sat in the corner.

I pulled it out tonight, b/c hubby's out of town, and did the Supercharged Sculpt... how in the world do you finish those videos??? I swear I was a bouncing elephant in the living room, I am surprised I didn't fall through the floor.. oh and the dog was barking at me!!! I am thinking of cleaning and organizing the basement (1/2 finished) and getting tv for it. Maybe I'll be least worried/self conscience (wrong word, I know but I can't think of it) if I don't think my husband will be in his office, concerned that either I WILL fall through the floor or certain I brought home the Hippo from the Zoo in Chicago.

I did the Firm for a few months last Spring and Summer before my wedding. Didn't really lose too much weight but could see the results. I keep trying to remember that when I want to give up. Obviously it isn't working.

I think maybe tell someone my goals and plans will help. We are new to this area and I don't have anyone to work out with or anything, so it's all internet! I am 27 years old, 5'6" and I weigh 175lbs. I wear a kinda loose size 14, but size 12 are way too tight. My top is probably a Large or 14-16. Yikes. My highest weight. I have NO muscle mass, ZERO, I even have dimples on my arms (noticed that at work yesterday! Nice.). I NEED to change this, but have a hard time keeping with it.

I have a fairly decent diet. The core of my diet is healthy and sound, mostly WW fare, however I give in to junk way to much. Cookies, Ice cream and carbs. I don't keep it in the house, however the store's not too far away and I don't hesitate to get in the car and buy it. The obvious answer is to throw in a video when that craving hits, but that's doesn't happen.

So that's my story. I am going to TRY and do this. I want to do this. I have a cruise in 10.5 weeks that I would like to feel better about myself on if not look better. I have no clothes that fit me from last year, bought a few larger sized in May and have just rotated them all summer. I NEED to do this.
 
Dmickey28, we are here with you. Keep coming by, we are a great source of encouragement and a great place to hold you accountable. You can do it. Lot's of us started slowly at first and now.............. well some of us are doing/trying ;) Cathe. It all takes time and just keep going at it!!!

Norma, low max is wonderful. Who knew you could get such a great workout with no equipment for your lower body. I was sweating bullets. My kids tried 2 minutes with me and then my son asked, mom how do you do it? I can't keep up and then went through showing me all the body parts that hurt while he was trying. My daughter gave up and said she's too tough and I'll just sit and watch you. Mom can you breathe :rotfl: Barely, but boy was it worth it
 
Dmickey28 welcome back and please don't feel bad. some of us (ok me) have been on this thread for years and have yoyoed their weight but we keep coming back. No one can do it alone and we are always here for you, vent away baby. This is one of my all time favorite threads and really feel like you guys are my close friends. Now start slow and even if you don't finish a tape just do a few minutes, then a few more, then a few more. It takes time but we know you can do it.

This am I finally got to do the Janet Brooks upper body workout. Having been taeboing for the last few days and not using weights boy did I feel it. But mother of God she is one beautiful woman. I wanna be her in my next life. I like that they used different instructors in this firm tape. I think I'll keep it a bit before I send back to netflix.
 
Today was C.A.W.T. with Emily. Feeling low on energy lately and I don't know why.


DMickey28, welcome back; the more the merrier. Good for you for trying again. I honestly believe you have to be emotionally, mentally, and physically ready to lose weight in order to succeed. The important thing is to never give up and to keep trying. You CAN do it and we'll be right here to cheer you on. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
 
Afternoon everyone. I did a 30 minute walk and then did al lthe step segments of body fusion. My legs are feeling wobbley after doing low max yesterday!!!!
