Here we go it's the first of November.

Nothing this am. DD was up, still way to overexcited from Halloween. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
 
good title!!!!! I think we've got it covered!

I did the first part of timesaver #1, the step portion and then switched to timesaver #4 and did the kickboxing part. When all was said and done I had got in 58 minutes!! It was a great workout.

Well, November is finally here and I for one am thrilled! Let the holiday season begin...........

This morning I did Low Max. As usual I ended up drenched in sweat.
 
Good morning, finally got in a workout. Of course tried to convince myself I was fighting something blah blah but again noticed how uplifted my mood was when I finished. Did a taebo advanced workout. Needed the calorie burning!!
 

Good morning everyone! I notice that we are doing less firming around here! I know that for me, it's not as challenging, but I stil am holding on to those tapes!! I did high step training. I just got this one. WOW!! Great workout. I really like her high step workouts. They are fun and dang hard work!

Hi all! :wave: I did Muscle Endurance this morning. Another great Cathe workout.

sheree, I agree that the Firm videos aren't as challenging anymore. But I still keep them because they are good for easier days. The Firm brought me to the point where I could start doing Cathe, so I'll never give them up completely.
 
As soon as I saw this thread title, I just knew it was by s&k'smom! :teeth:

I was feeling really good and did Step Blast this morning--although I skipped The Challenge. I've said it before, this is my all-time favorite cardio of any instructor I've ever done. Great music, fun moves, and Cathe & crew look like they're having such a good time. :banana:

Glad to hear that everything is going well for everybody. My dh goes to his Dr. to get his results of his lymph node biopsy tonight. When they were removed they told us, they "looked good", so we're going in with a positive vibe. Dh then just has to have the skin lesion cut all the way down through the layers of skin and taken out. I'm pretty confident we'll be getting good news tonight. :shamrock:

Good morning all. Stayed away from the Halloween candy two days in a row!

Got in about 50 mins of taebo this am. I know the rumor is more firm tapes in the spring I'm wondering now with all the fitness competition will they try to come up with something different.
 
I heard about that too. Something about a boot camp??? I wonder too if they will change their format. I guess we have to wait and see!!!

I did Imax extreme this morning. 75 minutes of having my body whipped into shape!

Today is a rest day. I am trying to exercise for 5 days, then take a rest day. But I'm feeling guilty for not working out today.
 
Well, I was feeling good today and decided to go for a run. Let's take a look at the next few hours following that:

Kim: "I don't know, Doc. I was running, felt a pop in my heel, and went down in the middle of the road. Now I'm having trouble walking on my left foot. It's kinda just hanging off the end of my leg..."

Dr. Gibbs: "Hmmmmmmm...Let's take a look at that MRI. Oh, I see the problem. You have several tears in your achilles tendon. I am going to put you in a cast, give you a cane and some Percocet, then send you to an orthopedist for an evaluation. In my opinion, you won't need repair surgery, but you'll be in the cast anywhere from 3-6 months."

What a friggin' two weeks it's been. Thank Gawd for the Percocet.
 
OMG Kim I truly am at a loss as what to say. TG for prescriptions! Wish we could take you out on the town.

A little Cathe this am!
 
Kim :grouphug: I hope you feel better. Take that medicine as needed so you don't feel the pain! You are in my prayers, take care of yourself!

A little bootcamp for me this morning. If you call that a little workout! I'm off for a shower and a change of clothes.

I couldn't believe how energetic I felt doing IMAX2 this morning. I did the first 6 intervals on an 8" step, then switched to 6" because I knew I couldn't do the ski jumps in Interval #7 on the higher step.

Sorry I haven't been around ladies.... There's a lot of stuff going on in our families right now. :sad1: I have been exercising, but not FIRMing as much because we still don't have a VCR and 99% of my FIRM workouts are on VHS.

Edited to add.... I did Super Cardio Sculpt today! :banana: It was a great workout! I miss my FIRM videos. :( (I have Super Cardio Sculpt and Super Body Sculpt on DVD.)
 
Let's just say fri involved chocolate, cake and fried chicken.
 
Good afternoon ladies. Today was jiggle free abs and cathe's stretch number 1. I will alsways do this kids of thing for my rest day. No heavy workout, but letting everything go!

Hi everyone! This morning I did Step Jump & Pump. If it's not too rainy tomorrow I'll go for a run.

I've been wondering when and how the Firm threads started. Has anyone been posting from the beginning?
 
I had almost two whole hours to myself this am. Ate my healthy breakfast, read the paper and took out two dvd's to get started tomorrow.

I think the threads got started when we used to post weekly or was it daily?
 
I ran 5.3 miles this morning. No rain this morning, yay!!

kim, while I was out running this morning I saw a sign that made me think of you. "Tough times don't last, tough people do" :grouphug:
