We're heading to Walt Disney World next spring with our 5yo and 8yo. This will be their second (and third) visit and my sixth.

I'm looking for the perfect Magic Kingdom Fireworks experience. Last time we did the Pirate Pals Fireworks Cruise and LOVED it! But my DH likes to mix it up and wants to do something different this time.

I've heard mixed reviews about the TomorrowLand Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party, and I'm not sure what other options there are - other than staking out a primo spot (which I'm not apt to do).

Suggestions please???

We've done the Fireworks dessert party on our last 2 trips. In fact, when I asked DS6 what his favorite restaurant in Disney is, he said the dessert party! We love being able to relax and eat all those scrumptious desserts (DS especially loves the chocolate covered strawberries) and then right before the fireworks start, walk up to the railing and watch the fireworks - no having to stake out a spot on the ground an hour before. It's one our favorite experiences at Disney.

Suggestions please???

You will also want to be able to see the new "show" that is actually projected on the front of the Castle,
"Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.

Below is a rough estimate of the Fireworks viewing spots
based on other posters' info on the boards and personal experience.

I know in the past there was an Illuminations fireworks cruise....

Yup.
Still happening.

But, in this case, the OP is asking specifically about the MK fireworks.
