Can you see the nightly fireworks from DL outside of the park? If so, where is best view? Staying at the Grand Californian if that helps!

Yes, you can see them from the DTD facing rooms at GCH, from the Esplanade between DL and DCA, and from certain parts of DCA, among other places.

DL has four fireworks shows they cycle throughout the year. The most frequent one is Remember Dreams Come True which is was designed to be viewed near the castle with many special effects that tell the story. If you are not near the castle or on Main Street. you will miss 80% of the show FWIW.

The summer show Magical has flights of Tink and Dumbo which you can also only see near the castle. But Magical has does not depend so much on being near the castle for the overall show.
