Hi all :wave2:
Can anyone recomend some good locations for viewing the firework at MK and Epcot bearing in mind that we have a couple of toddlers with us.Thanks
Graham

At MK I would watch in Main St, towards the back so that when the fireworks have finished you can get to the car/bus quickly as everyone begins the mad dash ou fo there! At Epcot, its best to get a spot round the lagoon really early (Canada is a good spot) so that you can get a bench and your kids wont have to stand up for too long.

At Epcot we have found between China and Norway is a good spot, and also just before you get to Germany going clockwise is also a good spot.

If you think they are not going to like it too much why dont you watch them from Grand Floridian. You could always go to Gasparillos for something to eat and watch from there.

You can also see the MK fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian resort and from the balcony at the Contemporary.

Magic Kingdom - in Main Street with castle in background

Epcot - anywhere right up at the railings, otherwise kids may not see much

A word of warning though, you do not want to be in the mad crush that leaves the park after the fireworks at Magic if you are going at peak season. It took us an hour and a 1/2 to get home after the show last year. We were shattered. This year we either watched from ferry or stayed after them to let the crowds go but makes a long day for little ones bad enough for us big ones.

How early would you start to get your spot for the fireworks taking in mind that i'm going in january so the crowds (fingers crossed) are usually pretty low?

Well we went in peak season this July and just went about 15 minutes before they started. We were at the entrance to the showcase in the centre right in the front by the railings around the lake. No problem seeing anything.

Hi, can anyone tell me what time the fireworks start at Magic Kingdom and do they do them every night or just special ocassions ?

thanks

MK firework times various depending on season and day of the week - you need to look at the schedules for the time of year you are going when they come out :)

Check out the park hours and schedules on the main DIS site here:

We have watched Wishes in Liberty Square before :) Lovely and uncrowded.
