Which hotels offer the best Hotel Room view for nightly fireworks?

Suggestions appreciated.

The very best would be Club level lagoon view at the Polynesian. Next would be CR tower MK view. After that would be lagoon view at the GF, not sure theya re offering a guaranteed MK view though.

From that point, a few of the rooms at the WL have some MK fireworks view. Some of the rooms at the BCV and BWI/BWV have Epcot fireworks views. I'm sure there are a few others, but I don't have firsthand knowledge, so I'll decline comment.

Since you posted on the OH&A, I'm assuming you're looking for info on offsite hotels???? Also, which set of fireworks are you hoping to view??

Well if it's offsite then I can recommend the Best Western Lakeside. I could see fireworks from there. My room was in the back facing Sherberth Rd. I was on the second floor, I opened my curtains and watched from my darkened room.

I am starting my research into the area so I haven't made my mind up yet whether to stay on site (pay the extra for the Disney experience) or off site (cheaper but less Disney presence).

I would like a room with a patio so we can sit out, enjoy the show from a distance. I will be traveling with my DH and sister. My sister smokes. So, a patio with a view would give her a chance to indulge. Better than watching TV, right?

You are so much more experienced at staying around WDW and I wanted expert opinions!

I found the Polyn's Tahiti (which is not concierge) has the best view from my room - straight across to the castle.

you need to be careful with Polyn many of their very, very expensive rooms don't get a view of the castle because of that island....

with the Cont any room on the MK side (seven seas lagoon) the problem here is those are expensive. the Bay lake side has the same rooms for less money - and there is a 4th floor overlook that anyone can watch the fireworks from. (they don't allow the 14th anymore - this is just for restuarant guest)

I don't participate like the GF....

from the Cbr and Pop you can see the Epcot fireworks. the Pop can also see some of the Studio fireworks....

of course from the Epcots resorts you can definitely see the fireworks - BC/YC/BCV, BW, D/S - from the right room....

even some of the higher up houses in the area - you can see the fireworks...

Orange Lake has reported higher fireworks, Silver Lake definitely,

You could possibly check the Swan/Dolphin discount thread stuck to the top of this board. We've stayed at the Dolphin. We had a balcony that had a perfect view of not only Illuminations, but the PI fireworks as well. It is a deluxe resort w/ a bit easier pricing.

It depends on if you want close up view of the fireworks or distant view. You said "see the fireworks from a distance", but how distant do you want?
Grand Floridian,Poly and Contemporary are great for MK fireworks. Beach Club Villas and Boardwalk have some rooms where you can see the fireworks.
But if you are looking for distant fireworks my favorite is POP Century. Ask for the rooms farthest away from the main lobby, right near the parking lot, top floor facing the parking lot. You can sit out on the "balcony, walkway" and see all three parks fireworks. Depending on the way the wind is blowing you can even hear the booms, a little later than the explosion but you can still hear them.
I always ask for this area when I stay at the POP because of the view of the fireworks.
If you have a camera with a good zoom you can even get some pictures of the castle, the globe, and TOT.
with a AP you can get Pop at a really good price too. I am staying there in April and can't wait. Peggie
